"Witch doctors are spiritual warriors who summon dead souls and crawling creatures to do their bidding. By surrounding themselves with conjured zombies and vermin, witch doctors are free to assault their enemies with exploding skulls, acid poison clouds, and wasting curses.

The ability to infect, slow and terrify their enemies gives witch doctors unprecedented control over a battlefield. They can manipulate opposing attacks and movements with debuffs and crowd control spells, rendering enemies easy prey for hungry pets. Witch doctors can also lay down fields of fire and venom that slowly leech life from advancing foes.

Although some witch doctors avoid melee combat in favor of augmenting their pets and crippling their enemies from afar, they are also more than capable of slaying weakened foes with their own hands."

Summary:
They each leave three pools. These pools are the same size, regardless of rune choice.

If an enemy is stationary, it receives 10 ticks (9+1) of DoT damage from acid rain.
If an enemy is stationary, it receives 19 ticks (18+1) of DoT damage from slow burn.
An enemy may stand in two or three pools and it will receive exactly two or three times the DoT damage.

Acid rain with three pools hitting a stationary large enemy (per cast):

Proc Coefficient (a.k.a. PC, or Proc Rate) is a game mechanic in Diablo III used to compensate for some skills' ability to hit more than once during its use.

All skills have a 0 to 1 Proc Coefficient, which controls the effectiveness of certain 'on hit' affixes, like life on hit, for that particular skill. The coefficient reduces either the effectiveness of the triggered special property (such as the amount of Life regained), or the chances to trigger this effect, if plainly reducing it is not possible.

Typically, skills that can only hit one target will have this coefficient equal (or very close) to 1, meaning the affix will trigger ("proc") on (nearly) every hit. Some skills, usually those that deal damage independently from the player's actions, like pets, have a proc coefficient of 0, meaning the skill will never proc the 'on hit' affix. Damage over time and area of effect skills generally have very low proc coeffients, but since they can hit many targets at once, or the same target many times in succession, this is more or less balancing the total chances.

A basic attack always has a PC of 1, regardless of the weapon type equipped.
The PC only affects special effects, and not the damage done. Area Damage and many other effects also ignore PC. Moreover, each skill's own 'chance on hit' effects, including those that are granted by the skill runes, are generally not affected by the Proc Coefficient.

Basically nonstop casting of WoZ wrecking crew for taunt and vampire bats will cause Fetishes to spawn nonstop. You have a ton of meat tanks and mobs just cant ever touch you. This build helps mitigate a ton of damage in solo and party play. WIth a good weapon T4 T5 is possible. I am doing t2/3/4 with this build and rather crap equipment. Damage output from 10-20 fetishes is no joke either.

The requirements till ROS comes out is 3 pieces of legacy gear with -WoZ duration.

I get like around 10-20 fetishes added to my dogs and gargantuan. Add in the zombies and you have an army. Enjoy. Its a very fun build. Hopefully a build that blizzard doesnt kills off like CoB or 0dog ><

When Mystic is up and running, adding % to cold damage skills and SB/Haunt really make it shine.

Similar to what JMAC (I think that's who it was) was posting videos of, but a level 60 variant. T3 is pretty cake with it, but i haven't dived into t4, yet. I think I have something like 275k DPS (with SoJ) and 600k toughness with paragon points.

I love the maxing out RoE with WoS, SW, SH, and FA, which allows a lot of CB spam.

Hoping to find a socketed Last Breath with max cool down reduction for MC. I'd switch out FA if that was the case and just spam the hell out MC then.

I've been thinking about going back to bears, though, since I have -16 bear gear already that I use all the time...

But I agree I was running that build last night as well, very fun too, I'm glad they changed the animation on corpse bomb.

I'll be working on Bears builds tonight, I have some nice ZB reduction gear to set up.

I would caution players about difficulty now, comparing T6 and T6 at level 70 in ROS is another universe apart :P

I like them bears. Although I feel like they increased the radius for lumbering cold even more since PTR. Seemed harder to hit with multiple bears since they come out of the ground so far away from you.

I settled on T4 with 265k DPS.

Minimum requirements:

For instance, I have 2.31+ APS and that means I reached 5 ticks per second, that is five chances per second to summon a fetish.
How many fetishes can you summon at one time and how much damage to they do?
I was seeing crits between 350k to 450k with and without soul harvest.
Note that my D3 profile has incorrect data. I have about 265k DPS in game and the SoJ+SoS boost that by about 34% vs elites. Note that crit damage doesn't help fetishes and pets, as far as we know.

How many? It's truly random. Sometimes after standing there channeling I can have 15 and other times only a few. Last night on the way to Kulle I was often times running around with about 10 fetishes because the white enemies weren't killing them, but I was channeling without moving for long periods of time.

I make sure to almost always have at least one to slow down enemies and then if I start channeling, enough usually pop up to keep most enemies at bay.

With BBV, fetish army, and a reasonable size group of fetishes, T4 elites can be pretty quick. On the PTR I recall seeing over 800k to elites fully buffed. I think I saw the Wrathful protector hitting for 7 million.

I'd actually get rid of the wrathful protector, but sometimes when I die vs an elite, I can either run away and channel bats until I have fetishes or I can just summon the protector again and do damage while rebuilding my fetish sycophants.

On the PTR I had optimized my build to 2.41 APS with paragon point so that BBV makes me jump up two bat breakpoints to 2.73 aps which is 6 ticks per second.

This is what I'm running only minus 1 passive ofc and instead of MC, I use Hex/Jinx. So far T5 viable (solo/team) with few deaths in an a4 clear.

I alternate between Pile On/CB/Bears every other clear to see which I prefer more playstyle-wise, but all three are definitely viable for higher t-levels.

Mana isn't really a problem so long as you stack AS so SB can wind up RoE faster.

Kiting is neccessary, but then again, I think the days of "facetanking everything" builds are over.

Works great with my dropped bracers, Ancient Parthan Defenders with -11% damage for each stunned enemy within 25 yards.

When all buffs are up, I'm tanky and can pretty much span AC:CB.
Does WoZ block fetishes and enemies the same?

I was thinking I could get -4s with just two items and still maintain my exact DPS, replacing garg with WoZ taunt.
