Same thing happening to me. Sometimes (maybe 20% of the time) it reaches 90m ticks, but most of the time it never passes 15m ticks, after concentrated nuking. There is clearly a bug here, Blizzard. Please re-evaluate and troubleshoot.

I got the same 12 million per for infinite ticks. Is it random or work differently on different mob? Because I also saw once 40 millions per infinite ticks.

I have no doubt they just fudged the code and it will be fixed shortly. What kills me, is how easily you replicated the bug, yet their own QA can't replicate or is too lazy to actually spend the time taking the report seriously to try. Pretty damn pathetic if you ask me.

This is pretty spot on.. Not to mention once you're locked in the "low fire dot" it won't matter how much fire damage you put out it won't go beyond that point.

What's even worse is you can actually LOWER the damage of the dot. In the middle up uploading a video to twitch/youtube.

You need to go back to your QA team and put a boot in their... yeah, you know what.
Is the bug fully fixed? I'm still noticing some weird behavior....most of the time i can get up to 45M a tick easily. but on some higher hp mobs, like once they get to the 3B hp range it just stops working....the highest damage i get is like 11M a tick, less than 30% of what i normally get. Is there some caveat that i'm not aware of? Some sort of conditional use or certain enemies it doesn't work on?

Good, pass along Kurono's video, solid proof of the bug, or w/e it is, with the set. It's pretty cut and dry, not much else to do at this point except to fix it.

I don't have a wizard myself, but could it be so that it is bugged like old rend? When you get the 17 M dmg it's a non-crit inifite DoT and when you get 90 M it's a critical hit infite DoT? Instead of having the whole DoT roll for critical hit, the "internal damage ticks" should roll for critical hit.

Thanks for making this.

Can't retool/regear in greater rifts. Unless the QA team has a video to refute this, please don't say it's resolved or "working as intended". We don't need the 300mil ticks like we saw in PTR, but at least give us the 80-100mil that was intended.

Unboot, then reboot, that's ridiculous!!

It wouldn't surprise me, it's the most likely scenario in my mind. So the temporary fix for long fights is remove a piece to reset the dot until you get a crit one going? Lol.

Probably. That's probably why they say it's intended. But it is intensely horrible gameplay design to unboot, then reboot repeatedly until you get the crit DOT. DOT should be maxed and stay that way.
