Seasonal achievements question

About the achievements, I already completed all (except one) the achievements in non-season mode. What's in it for me for the season achievements?

I saw there is two new stuff in seasons for achievements, the ''seasonal only'' achievements and the ''conquests''. Will these two ''new tabs'' roll over to my non-season achievements after? Will they be transfered to feat of strenght? What's gonna happen with these?

Because one thing is sure, I am not doing 100% of all achievements a second time in season (every season), but I would gladly do 100% of the ''seasonal only'' and ''conquests'' ones if it actually gave me something in return.

One last thing, what happens to the achivements like ''complete 10,000 bounties''. If I complete a bounty in season, does it count towards my non-season achievement? If it doesn't, here is my question, will the number of bounties I complete be transfered to my non-season number after season? Let's say I have 4,000 in non-season and I do 2,000 in season.. at the end of the season is my number of bounties done gonna be 6,000?

Thank you.

Great question. Conquests and Seasonal achievements are handled differently:
  • When a Seasonal character earns an achievement that you haven't already earned on your non-Seasonal characters, it will immediately register for both your Seasonal and non-Seasonal characters.
  • When a Season ends, any Conquests you earned won't appear in your list of non-Seasonal achievements or add to your non-Seasonal achievement points. Instead of the two tabs you mentioned "rolling over" into your non-Seasonal profile (since they don't exist outside of Seasons), your Conquests and total Seasonal achievement points are snapshotted to a separate record in your profile (so people can see what you achieved each Season).

Yup! All progress you earn toward an achievement during Seasons should count toward your non-Seasonal achievements as well. (In the example you gave, you should have 6,000 bounties after your Seasonal progress carries over.)

That just does not sound quite right.... Please forgive me if I wait and see how it works out. It should certainly add any new achievements you get to both Seasonal and non-seasonal, but I don't see us getting double credit for things we already had. It would certainly be interesting if it worked that way though.
What does it matter? Just cheat your way to everything in this game, there are no punishments for doing so after all

I don't think that is what he is saying. There is not a separate achievement for non-season and season after the season ends, but if an unearned achievement in non-season is completed during the season OR the non-season and season achievement combined totals the required amount to earn the achievement, then it is awarded when the season counters are rolled into the non-season counters.

In the above example, if the amount needed to earn the achievement is 10,000 but at the end of the season the combined total is 6,000 then the achievement has not been earned, and thus can only be awarded once.

The other scenario to this would be if an achievement is earned in non-season AND earned separately during a season, then when the season ends, it will just show the achievement as earned (likely with the oldest date it was earned on).

Alright sounds good. The fact that the conquests will be snapshotted is awesome so I will be doing those for sure. What about the ''seasonal only'' achievement tab though (for example kill 1,000 skeletons in act 1 or kill king leoric 100 times)? They will just add points to your seasonal achievement total? Any other purpose since they are ''new'' achievements?

By the way thank you for your answer.

IIRC a bounty completed on a seasonal character counts as completed bounty for non-season as well. There is no need to "carry over". I guess it should be the same for all "kill/do x times" achievements.

Correct. You won't be able to see the individual Season Only achievements you completed once the Season is over. However, these achievements contribute to your Seasonal point total (which is snapshotted along with the Conquests you completed).

Almost! In this case, the achievement should be recognized in both your Season and non-Season profile as soon as you complete it in game. You don't have to wait for the end of the Season for the achievement to become active in your non-Season profile.

I wish when you guys implemented stuff you would stop half doing it.

So...... Just for getting this right.

I am an Achievement Hunter and have nearly 100% in non-season. Your post says I don't need to do and actually worry about the "season-only"-tab, because after the season this tab won't be put into my achievement screen? Thats great. In that case, I don't need to play seasons at all I guess. :D
You need to play season for conquests though.
then how come I'm not able to see my friends achievements on SC or Seasons?

I was trying to check their achievements the other day and it shows 0 to me either SC or seasons. And I know that this friend is over 7k achievements point on SC.
Lmaonade
Yeah wow....so who cares about seasonal achievements then? Way to really take out all the reason for the season! (see what I did there?)

I'll be hitting 70, get my transmog and then I'm out!!!! *Peace*

In all seriousness, I'm a Diablo homer..just give me even a quasi-legitimate reason for playing Season beyond the transmog. Otherwise ..I'm just wasting game money getting merchants, and plans I already own...and worse wasting my TIME. Conquests are out of the question for a semi-casual like me. This needs to be rethought.
Good to know. I was working on season achievements today. Now that I know there's no point to it, I'm back to non-season.
Question:Let say i am paragon 300 in season,,how many paragon will be top up to my non season char when season end?
