Blizz please clarify - are BOTT item procs fixed?

General Discussion
As the title says, is Bane of the Trapped able to proc off item effects now? Blue post previously stated a patch was required to fix that. In the patch notes, you fixed it applying to frozen. Did this extend to item procs or is that still bugged?
Bane of the Trapped's bonus damage does, as the patch notes indicate, now appropriately extend to monsters affected by Frozen. However, the fix for item procs didn't quite make this patch. I talked a little about this yesterday, so to reiterate:

This particular bug is proving somewhat stubborn, but we’re working to get a fix implemented as quickly as possible. Right now, that’s looking to be a client-side patch, though depending on testing, it may not make the next one.

We were unable to implement this particular fix in Patch 2.1.1, but we are working on one for a future patch.
So, Frostburns are still a no-go?
Thankyou for this fix.

In relation to Cold EQ/leap barbs, thats 50% of the problem fixed.

We still have to use the "death from above" rune (stun) with EQ as frozen only works for one leap rotation on elites. I understand that the devs do not want frozen to perma freeze elites for obvious reasons, however a solution would be to reduce the freeze to the same duration as death from above after the first leap rotation.

This in turn frees cold barbs from being forced to use death from above for 2nd, 3rd etc leap rotations and allow us to use any other rune, say Iron Impact (50% armour bonus per enemy hit after landing for 3 seconds).

Lastly, this would help greatly with "leap to your death" issues all leap barbs often complain about in Grifts.

Thankyou

So, no go for SWK still?

So another month or so before we can use it. That's just perfect...

Thank you very much for the quick response.
So we are talking MONTHS away?
a fix for the frozen issue being usable instanteously only

(ie: bane of trapped should apply a personal debuff for 5 seconds after a mob is hit by a cc ability you/your follower cast)

also makes it easier for use on frost nova, point of no return, taunts, etc
yo, why u answer to such a meaning less post, but ALL the people complaining about how you destoryed the grift competition completely with the last patch??
Now main question here is, what do you guys understand as control impairment, slows and chill count as well? what about a stun or a fear? , here is a list of whats supposed to count as control impairment:

Knockback
Stun
Slow (Including Chill effect)
Freeze
Immobilize
Fear
Confusion
Blind
Taunt
Charm
Hex

This means bane of the trapped works on live on all the previous situations as well?
So is the frozen/freeze from Frostburn working with Bane of the Trapped now?
