leg workshop : feedback pls ?

Items and Crafting
Can we have some feedback about the legendary worshop ? It would be great to know if some ideas and what ideas are going to be look at :)

Ty
They have hundreds to pour through then prune out redundancies... it will likely be a while and definitely not on a weekend.
The workshop lacked proper summary, but from what I understood the legendary item that will be implemented (at some point in the future) is the item that cycles through elemental bonuses. Like during the next 5 secs gain +30% fire damage, then next 5 secs it turns to cold etc.
The item they settled on is a Wizard Source that cycles through each element, adding a massive bonus to a particular element. I think they stated around 300% elemental damage, the element randomly chosen on a one-minute timer.

they had scratched out source and indicated it could be a ring or something that all classes could benefit from.

Can we have some feedback about the legendary worshop?

Hey there, vicious. The dev team reviewed the ideas submitted prior to the Legendary Workshop, and picked the best ones to jam on with our guest designers during the panel. In the end, they chose an item that buffs different Elemental damage types in a set rotation. You can find out more about the panel in our recent blog post.

That's not really a hard call.

The universal Diablo 3 truth.
The problem is that as of right now, there are 0 EFFECTIVE builds that have even remotely good synergy with this item. And this item certainly won't create its own synergy. Just an all around useless idea. Whoever thought this idea up needs to be thrown off a building.
Sounds like a fun idea, definitely more interesting than most of the ideas I read in that thread.
Was never a fan of Shard of Hate.
We have too many legs and sets now that are trash. Why add more. Why not take some of the crap sets and buff them to make them viable.
They might as well have designed an item that turns your character into a paraplegic nephilim as soon as you put it on.

Best ones lol.

BTW are they actually going to use that thread as feedback or are they just going to throw it out, like a lot of the other useful player feedback?

They didn't want "feedback," they wanted new ideas. New ideas are by definition, new, so they can't yet get any feedback, since they are new.

As for any other "feedback" submitted on that thread, why read a word of it? It was an idea submission thread, not a rant thread.

Having said that, there is plenty to rant about in this game, but when you ask a dev if they are going to pay attention to feedback that was submitted in a thread not for that purpose, and probably get bent about it when they tell you they aren't, it's you who are in the wrong, bubba, not them.
