It's not about build counting. It's about what people reasonably keep. What about that do you not understand?

How is it fair that a person who plays 1 class to end game have absolutely no problems?

we got 12 slots, so you have 6 slots for mules

Once ancients come out. You going to salvage your ancient shadow set? That's harder to find then the current SMK?

Once ancients start filling your stash, you will be very very short on stash.

Yeah take those 2 pages of stash, extrapolate it across 6 classes + mats + keys + leg gems, etc.

Your math clearly shows we dont' have enough stash. at least 10 pages.

Unless you consider muling a solution?

Where we don't have any global mule management, need toons to PLAY other modes?

over 6 classes you have 710 slots (math, you know)
if you multiply those 156 with 6 you got 963

while that now looks like it doesnt fit, it actually does for several reasons, the biggest of them that besides the class specific items you dont need several copies of them since oyu can use them on more then one char. or cause oyu use the same item (mostly jewelry and bracers) for several builds

so if we take that into account and multiply the 156 with 4 (we got 3 differant mainattributes and the 4th is to take into consideration some specials) we are at 624 needed slots
thats less then the 710 we have plus all our chars are still naked at that point

ofc you now will come up with some new arbitrary reason but you can disprove math

I generally feel the bare minimum on AVERAGE is 1.5 pages of stash per class x 6 = 9 pages. 1 page for mats and other things. Simple.

Monk gear is actually higher. Some people have legacy gear that's valuable as well - not everyone but some do.

Let's not be willfully ignorant. Even by YOUR calculations the 5 pages we have right now is clearly _NOT_ENOUGH_.

There ya go. It's not arbitrary. It's pretty OBVIOUS at this point.

Hardcore is even worse btw.

I'm not about to play the semantics game with you. It was a fun time interacting with you buddy.

Clearly people can do simple math and make their own deductions.

Inventories are used to PICK UP loot and salvage for mats. A DH will need 16k whites, and corresponding yellows and blues for the barb he needs to make in the next patch.

Inventories usually have a legendary pot, wings?/ghostdog?, gems, mats, and healthpots (dropped usually). So the rest of the inventory really needs to stay empty for loot.

If you stick a bunch of crap in your ACTIVE toons, you can't pick up stuff - end up being extremely inefficient.

Your math is a guestimate of what we need. Monks, wizards, and wds have slightly more to moderate more gear needed than barb. DH is slightly lower - but this will change with the patch - prob end up the same due to bows/crossbows + quivers - cold phys lightning fire builds. Sader is about the same due to shields, flails, additional holy build needs.

P.S. Keep in mind the zds builds monk / sader need borns soul, and some need ashera's, and there's a whole host of bounty related things I didn't list...
