LF advice for a returning monk

Console Discussion
Hey guys, I stopped playing RoS about 8 months ago, and trying to get back to it. My two main chars were a Lightning (raiment) monk with high electric dmg bonus spec, and a Sunwuko monk with flying dragon high attack speed and cool down reduction, standard spec back then. Both relied heavily on set bonuses. I stopped playing shortly after we got GRifts on console (I think I barely got to GRift 30, and a only a few leveled gems).

I see there's been a lot of changes (ancient gear, set bonuses, gear nerfs). So I'd like help with two questions:

1. are my gear and specs obsolete now? If so, which builds should I be looking into now for a monk? Keep in mind I play a lot of solo, so I avoid zDPS builds.

2. I also have max level chars for every other class, so is there any class/build that's currently outperforming the rest.

Thanks!
I still used my hundred fist monk from the last 2 patches and she still good. But here are some videos link to a pc gamer who i think like rank 1 on the leather boards called quin c.

This one really good for speed t6 farming and but can go up to greater rift 40

here's one that got him high in the ranks with a greater rift 55 clear

For your third question The TalRasha wizard metor build is good and spin to win build is back with barb with the Waste set and other items that got revamped. I think from what other people said is crusader is still lacking but did get a buff with the Rolands set with shield bash or sweep attack build.

Thanks for the info. That dashing strike god build looks nuts, haha.
Good advice above. I have all top gear for all classes and I would have to say that the Barbarian with the waste build is tops so far enabling my Barb to reach GR 56 easily. This is mostly due to the Mortick Brace however, without it, it would be on par with other classes. Next I find is the Monk (Raiment build) and DH (ROV build), followed by Crusader (Roland build), and then the two squishy classes, the wiz (slow time build) and the WD (Zumi build). They too though can easily achieve high 40's, even low 50's if played right.

Out of all the classes and builds available, I like the Raiment build with the monk, the best. The Monk has always been an 'in your face' fighter, and I like that play style.

That's exactly how I feel, plus the mobility. Always loved the DS monk play style.

Thanks for the reply
