Patch 2.3 Raiment 6, Fire Dash Guide - Video

Monk
Dashing Strike is not dead, not by far. It presents a very good competition to the generator build in non season.

i cleared G66 in the second attempt (rank 3 or 4 at the time), current EU Rank 1 Non season (G70) is exatly the setup i used and that i explain in my Guide. Since there's no other guide linked here, i just put mine here. its not very long and you can skip to the beginning of the guide itself (time noted in the comments)

I'm bumping this. Good work.
Nicely done. Just wondering, how does this build compare to R6 + Flying Dragon? That build cleared GR62 last season, without the benefit of cubing. I wouldn't be surprised if it could clear GR70 this time round (if people weren't playing Uli's that is), and this one possibly goes higher.
How's possible to mantain high spirit when you're under "drain 65 spirit/seconds" of shenlong and you're USING spirit with dashing strike?
You have to drain completely the spirit and then refill with generators?

Breath of Heavens rune - Infused with light + FoT Rune - Quickening

14 Spirit + 20 Spirit is 34 Spirit per hit. You will hit 2x per sec (68 spirit per sec)
I'm loving the R6/Shenlongs build.

The key is RCR on both fists to keep the shenlongs buff up for the entire fight.

You just have to watch spirit and num locking breath of heaven makes it much easier.

Definitley a zodiac build to replace the CDR, so you can't rely on unity for solo toughness.
Yeah, its a very good build packed with damage, but I just having problem managing the spirit. (I die from exhausting spirit and in cooldown DS, due to FD up/down time)

If you can manage it, I bet it would be same offensive power as HotA (localised high dmg).

Could just go back to R6 + FD. The playstyle for that is very straightforward by comparison.
FD R6 ts not strong enough^^

2x damage just too much, don't mention alot of side damage from generator itself that provide by ahenlong.
Chubbs managed to reach GR67 after just a week, with R6 + FD. I'm sure they'd have been able to hit GR70 with it, if they'd continued playing.

Derpalator is at GR72, a lot of monks have been at 71 for over two weeks. This is surprising since there the ratio of U6 to R6 is over 100 to 1. Looking at the damage and player base, I think there is enough evidence to show that R6 is superior to U6.

I love R6 play style, I might try for it (getting bored with U6)

Yeah, but I was specifically talking about R6 + Flying Dragon. Shenlongs is probably stronger overall, but FD playstyle is dead simple by comparison. Punch stuff -> spirit goes up -> dash -> spirit goes down -> repeat. Despite that, I reckon it could also reach 70 and maybe even beyond. After all, it got to 62 last season without the benefit of cubing.
Right now (not literally) I'm using R6 with In-geom, Sun Keeper, and The Furnace (cubed). Been dashing from elite to elite only stopping long enough to pick up the Death's Breath. Fun, fun, fun until daddy takes my keyboard away.
