Help: How would you enchant this Shenlong's?

The unfortunate thing is that I only have a mediocre Relentless Assault to pair it with.
I would change vitality to life on hit.
I would re-roll the cooldown to 10%.
I would wait until you get a better Relentless Assault and see if it rolls with LoH or not.

You just just dust it because Shenlongs is changing next patch which is in like a week and some change and it's WAY better after the patch.

glad be those who have good fists? ;-)

anyways: NEVER roll 10% damage on dualwield, thats what i say. you effectively gain 5% more DPS for 1 mainstat on a weapon. Same with IAS. So that leaves you free to roll whatever you need. LpH, Vit, CDR, RCR.

but i'm still wondering if i can really make me do it and roll the 10% of my Relentless Assault off ^^

I can see where you're coming from, but I'm not sure if I can completely agree with that statement. I ran some of my toon's numbers through the D3 Planner simulator for 2.3 and I'm averaging on ~270 mil dmg loss per crit, if I do away with the 10% damage rolls from my Shenlong pair. Assuming I can manage 5 hits per second and half of those are crits, that's a net loss of 670 mil damage per sec.

You can still fit a LoH roll on a good Shenlong alongside 10% damage, but having 2 such rolls would be an overkill (especially with the Simplicity gem on the side). Vit is easy to come by in all gear slots, stacking it on weapons too is a bit over the top, IMHO. CDR is important, but then again - you can stack it elsewhere and adding it to both weapons is a tad too much (perhaps roll LoH on one fist and CDR on the other?). Not sure what you need RCR for on a Shenlong build.

All in all, I still think a 10% damage roll is one of the best choices you can make for any weapon, especially if you're looking to maximize your DPS output.

I, for one, certainly am. (%

Well my personal experience with monk tells me that you can make much more use of another Vit roll than another 5% dps in the weapon, actually, even 24% Area damage will be better (gen build).
This is a wonderful pair, Dunkelvieh ^^ Gratz ;)
