Hey everyone.

I will be following the stream and submitting posts every few minutes with what is being discussed for those that like to know right away.

Ok summary of panel from today:

First off, there was to be a bunch of new stuff, not everything was announced yesterday...

Senior designers are present.

Summary of yesterday:

The Armory.

The Rise of the Necromancer pack.

Today:

Seasons are coming to console!

When joining a season on console they recommended playing hardcore for seasons on console.
While they were showing the cosmetics for consoles, they talked about upcoming season for PC will have new wings, but they wont say which upcoming season. But their rewards are similar to PC seasonal play. They will have a different UI for accessing cosmetics.

Basically seasonal play on console works similar to how PC is now.

Wyatt:

Little tiny details for some changes.

ACCOUNT WIDE COUNTERS FOR CRAFTING MATERIALS! Yes! No more storing crafting mats in your inventory!! They get their own page!

Materials now have better floating text, and pickups are going to be smoother. But you still have to pick up. ;P

Auto fill for cube recipes! Yes! Now you can stop dragging your crafting mats to the cube!

Now you can get all dyes from the transmog artisan. Yep, the mystic will have a new tab with all the dyes!

Allowing us to level our leg gems faster!

Since normal play doesn't have enough death penalty... If you complete the GR without DYING< you get another roll. Up to 5!

Joe Shelly and adventure mode:

New Zones - Act 2. North of Caldium. Shrouded Moors.

Rainy windy place. Harsh place. Ancient monuments. Showing concept art.

Mist shrouded moors, hard to see past your character.

Second Zone - Temple of the first born. Oldest place in Sanctuary. Monks with fire, deep underground. Showing us concept art.

Sneak peek - Realms of Fate. Westmarch.

Sort of ghostly portal world crossing through various areas seamlessly.

Lots of new monsters!

wow, some creepy ways of getting the monsters after you. Lots of concept work.

Greater Rifts.

New algorithm for spawning monsters. Say goodbye to empty areas, much higher monster density, more likely to see different tile sets. Equal chance to get a new floor. Better monster populations, size is more consistent... Entrances are now SAFE.

Able to kill flying/leaping monsters in mid-flight now.

Invisible monsters will emerge faster.
(applies to burrowing monsters as well)

Affixes have been adjusted Reflect monsters will shoot back at you.

Shielded elites cancel instantly when the other elite members are dead.

Travis:

ITEMS.

Next patch 2.4.3 - 6+ updated items.

Saffron Wrap.
Boosting Overpower is X% for each monster hit with it.

Manald Heal.
Enemies stunned with paralysis get over 2500% damage for another spell (missed it)

Faithful Memory.
Each enemy hit with by falling sword boosts blessed hammers.

Rabid Strike.
Spirit spenders that can teleport you while epiphany is active.

Hellcat.
Generators using grenade have a chance to bounce x more times dealing more damage up to 800%

The Barber.
Allows you store channeled damage for spirit barrage for a end of channel release damage.

Challenge rifts.

Race for your fastest time. These rifts are snap shotted from random players then used as a fixed rift where nothing changes. Gear, skills, cubed powers, etc are fixed. Monsters are fixed. Map is fixed. Pylons are fixed. The sole object is completing the rift the fastest. These will be updated frequently with different ones.

Will be on both PC and console.

Jump right in and play, no barrier or requirements.
Get to play a variety of classes and builds.

Essentially you can play with a build, even if you never got to try it or even have one.

Learn the layout, since they never change.
Be more effective with it. Practice to try to get faster and faster.
And you get to compete both solo or with a team. All members will have the same build for that rift.

Gives all players a level playing field. Everything is the same for whoever tries it. It really boils down to player skill and good planning and practice. The challenge rifts are all about speed.

Pretty neat guys.

WHEN:

2.4.3 comes out on PTR next week! This includes the following:

The new Legendaries listed above, the new rift improvements, dyes on mystic, and gem upgrade improvements.. OH and the Darkening of Tristram!

2017 patch plan includes the armory, necromancer pack, new craft storage UI, cube recipe enhancements, new zones, and monsters, and challenge rifts.

Announcements are done. Time for questions:

Q1.
Loves fast paced end game, but misses toggling run/walk? (wtf?)
A.
Uh, no. Not been discussed.

Q2.
Wanting to know since all 7 of the greater evils are in the soulstone. I didn't make out the name of the evil she asked about not being in there.
A.
And no spoiler answer. So maybe?

Q3.
Are you willing to let us know what the gear will be. Can you let us know what kind of weapons they can use?
A.
Class weapon will be scythe Mana offhand or shield. still working that out. Similar to wiz or wd

Q4.
Plans of making more lore based dungeons, armor dungeon for bartok the bloody?
A.
The new zones will have lore moments. Since most play adventure mode, not focused at making a full store lore zone at this time.

Q5.
Plans to make more CGI clips or movies?
A.
They won't tease anything if they are, but they had the nec one yesterday. They are working to include more story stuff but no CGI stuff right now.

Q6.
How to combat the higher level crazy leveled players on console?
A.
Since only the next gen consoles are using fresh made seasonal characters only, they are hoping to keep the hacks out, but they won't discuss it directly here.

Q7.
D1. Do I get my loot 20 years later after the cutscene...
A.
They have some stuff planned for anniversary event. But not 20 year old loot.

Q8.Can bone wand as the main weapon instead of a scythe?
A.
Interesting, not sure it will be a main weapon, but it will most likely be available. Corpse explosion felt too low. But it could vary depending on map density.

Q9.
Skipping white monsters, are there plans to address it?
A.
Some of it is build dependent. So the strategy changes.

Q10.
Legendary powers. Have any plans for fixes that are really powerful, really awesome but not really cubable.
A.
Don't think that makings things not cubable. They just plan to tweak and add items as needed.

Q11.
Who else was on the chopping block that were considered to be put in.
A.
All the ones you would expect were on the list. Necro seemed like the right guy THIS TIME. Interesting.

Anniversary thing. Will there be more things like this, or things that will be permanent.
A.
They will be doing this and seeing how players react and how they go, if they will continue to make more like that.

Q12.
Have any plans to improve the AI of the pets?
A.
Yes, they are looking at the AI for the class pets. That is something they go back and look at periodically.

Are there any plans to update the LoN set?
A.
Wyatt. Its a set that is constantly changing due to different legendaries, so no changes are planned at this time. They are happy with where it is now, but it can always change.

Q13.
Items are in stash or armory?
A.
Items are kept in the stash.

Q14.
Going to support controllers for PC or mac
A.
No plans.

Q15.
Rifts full of bosses.
A.
Maybe.

So Hardcore gets 4 -5 rolls automatically!? Win!!!
what about sets being an optional build in the game and not mandatory gear to wear unless they make it to ware the sets dont empower curtain abilities and skills like come on blizzard.
