Game stuttering after 2.4.3 update

Wow Blizzard did you even test the patch or are we as your game base your beta testers... The game is unplayable now. The game freezes and lags all over the place. There was none of it just prior to the patch so don't come at me with try updating the driver or anything like that. This is entirely on your end and unacceptable.
Yes they did and for most people it runs better. They just deployed the 64bit client with Dx11 support. On most systems that is better. If it is not and you want to use the 32 bit client go to the launcher Settings > Game settings and switch back.
So very frustrating, I have been playing PTR just fine on the new patch/64 bit client with no issue whatsoever. Now that patch is live I get 1/3rd of the FPS i regularly do on the 32bit client, changing back manually to 32bit fixes the issue.

windows10, 780ti, 4670k, game alone on separate from OS 512 GB SSD, FPS capped @75 (for 75Hz monitor), windowed fullscreen.
i tried switching to the 32bit one and still getting horrible studdering, quite annoying =/
Ok MissCheetah I took your advice and launched it in 32bit mode and yes it is better but is still stuttering. I have tried with all video setting turned all the way down. I have tried everything that is on my end. There is nothing on my end that has changed from patch 2.4.2 to patch 2.4.3 except what Blizzard pushed to my computer. The ONLY thing left is a coding or compiling screw up. For me to have to back down to an older tech to try and "Fix" it is not an option. You don't drive in a race against formula 1 cars on a 2 cylinder moped. Why is it Blizzards auto response is that its something on your end. Well this time it is not. They need to say sorry and fix it. I would not trust playing on my hardcore characters for fear of loosing them to a Blizzard screw up.
I am having the same exact problem. game stuttering in both 32bit and 64bit, but when I was playing the PTR there was no stutter problem what so ever.

Game is unplayable with new patch. lag, glitches, stutter, frozen frames every 2 seconds, reverted to 32 bit client, and none of the new cool options in the game anymore. whats the point? we need a fix asap before season starts please.
I don't even get the stutter. Game played fine this morning. Then the patch went through and now I get 30 to 100 seconds of play in and the game just shuts down.

Why is it always Diablo and its updates crapping out on my rigs?
Did they Really push that known buggy ver. 11 driver?
tried doing a repair on the game, and no luck. blizzard breaks diablo every time :(

Something went wrong on the live 64bit version. The PTR 64bit version was perfectly fine, but the live version is stuttering a lot.

My configs shoudn't be a problem: i7 4790k + gtx 1080 + 16gb ram + D3 on ssd.
I am having this stutter issue as well. I just installed the game yesterday and bought ROS. The game should never stutter, especially on my rig! My specs are as followed:

- Windows 10 (latest update)
- intel i7-6700K 4.2 ghz
- 16 GB of DDR4 RAM
- MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X GPU

UPDATE: found this as a possible fix. It appears the game may stutter due to the amount of communities people may be connected to in-game. Vid here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd_oUvyw1VM
Same here; I'm not part of any communities, so there's nothing there to leave; I've selected to run 32bit instead of 64, and it runs noticeably better, but not nearly like it did pre-patch.
Have never had an issue with D3 until now with the new patch 2.4.3.

Crazy amounts of stutter running on a 980ti SSD i7 16GB DDR3

Tested on my laptop same issue since patch.

Please resolve before next season.
My experience:

In 64-bit mode, serious stuttering.
In 32-bit mode, smooth as butter!

Fullscreen(windowed)
Win 10 pro
i7-4790
32GB ram
GTX1070
Samsung SSD

Edit: GeForce driver ver. 376.33
Wohoo no stuttering. It worked for me to leave all Communitys.

Same here, before update full setting run smooth, now almost unplayable....waiting for update, Windows 10, 64bit, fullscreen window

Also had the stuttering and this instafixed! Being a loner pays off!
for me switching to 32bit fixed it. Had massive stuttering before, none now
after installed the new patch, D3 has stopped working. I get a error message that: Diablo 3 was unable to initialize D3D.
What can i do?
