Texture glitch after GPU upgrade

Technical Support
Just upgraded to a GTX 1070. Loaded up D3 and some textures are not displaying properly. Things like torch shadows, and things that stick into the foreground (rocks, posts, etc), and also the hero base on the menu screen, are showing as some static-ish texture instead of their normal skin. Drivers are up to date, other games seem to work just fine. I've tried adjusting every setting I can find to correct the issue. Here's a screenshot.

Hey Gatekeeper,

I would make sure to uninstall your old driver with DDU(http://www.guru3d.com/files-tags/download-ddu.html) and then reinstall the latest driver for your card. I would also make sure that your power supply is more then sufficient as if this is not a driver issue it could potentially be a hardware failure with the card itself.

Hi,
Ive had the same problem with my 770. It wasn't a driver issue; when i was reading some internet news (alt+tab - back to windows) then when i came back my textures looked like yours. I see on your pictures that you were away too, i think there is some kind of problem with retexturing when you are away for long time or something.
I have also had this happen to me before also. I am using a 1060 6GB and got it to happen when alt tab out to desktop only way for me to fix it was leave back to menu then come back in.
I just upgraded to a Zotac Geforce GTX 1070 and a 1080P 144hz 24” monitor.

I’m getting a weird 1.5” black square in the lower right corner of the monitor. Its about 20% transparent. It only seems to happen with Diablo. Has anyone experienced this?

thanks for the help.
Things to consider ...

Suggest to always clean install drivers. May need to use Display Driver Uninstaller to remove remnants of previous drivers. Older driver may be more stable.

Yeah basically once I reverted to the old driver, D3 runs perfectly again. I wonder if it was a specific setting change that caused it for me.

Try the 376.33 nvidia driver. They fixed my stutters.

I've played around with the NVidia control panel and the best performance I've achieved was setting game specific parameters to Power of Max Performance, Pre-Rendered Frame of 1, Triple Buffering On, V-sync on Fast, while having in-game V-sync on. This reduces the stutter significantly,
frostphorus,

Can you link a screenshot please? Sounds like another app is popping up something there. If you have any apps using overlays, try disabling them.
i have this same problem http://imgur.com/a/wHlui and i never installed new drivers. it's been like this since i installed diablo a month ago. i tried ignoring it but i hate it. what's happening
