I would like to request a small change to this item:

Grim Scythe now has a 100% chance to apply a curse and you deal 150–200% increased damage to cursed enemies.

With this little change we could select our favourite rune / element.
you can select your favorite rune right now too.
people don't use Fang to apply 100%curse. they mainly using in for 200%damage vs cursed enemies.
so if you want you can select your favorite rune(or even different skill) and apply curse manually.

What he's talking about is to say use Dual Scythe like it's Cursed Scythe.

Maybe he could have worded it better and said:

Grim Scythe gets the Cursed Scythe rune and has a 100% chance to apply a curse. You deal +200% damage to cursed enemies
It's a change that makes a lot of sense, but probably isn't very high on the priority list because of how effective it already is.

It's more broken in the sense that everyone is using it regardless of whether they even use Grim scythe.
It is a problem though that they design items that explicitly remove build diversity.
You've gone from a skill with five possible rune options to using only one, because the legendary effect doesn't apply to the other four.

People who want to use Grim Scythe are punished for not using Cursed Scythe.

You're sort of right, and I agree they should change it, but I'll explain why it think it's on the back burner.

You don't need cursed scythe to benefit from the weapon. You're better off using an actual curse specifically purposed for the content you're doing, in which case it doesn't matter which Grim scythe rune you use, or if you even use it at all.

Using cursed scythe by itself as the only thing cursing enemies is bad.

the main legendary effect apply to every skill.
and if people wanna use Grim Scythe to apply curse to enemies. Fang will buff this to 100%. but it doesn't mean that if they wanna use twin scythes rune - they can't. no one is stopping them from doing so.

this will make this weapon more interesting to use, and most certainly will diversify the melee style a little bit.

however, that makes a lot of sense, thus it will never happen!! knowing how this dev team receives feedback, they will probably say "we are happy with where it is" like the broken skeletal mages that in their blind pride will never fix because they are "happy with it" despite the fact that almost all the player base absolutely despise this skill and how it is designed!
