WD Requested Changes v6.1 for 2.6.2

Set Changes:

  • Helltooth Harness(6): After casting Wall of Death, gain 4400% increased damage for 15 seconds to your primary skills, Acid Cloud, Sacrifice, Zombie Charger, Zombie Dogs, Gargantuan, Grasp of the Dead, Piranhas, and Wall of Death. (Note: Sacrifice added)
  • Zunimassa's Haunt (2): Your Fetish Army lasts until they die and your Fetish Army, Big Bad Vodoo and Gargantuan have their cooldown reduced by 50%.
  • Zunimassa's Haunt (6): Enemies hit by your mana spenders increase the damage of your pets by 5500% for 8 seconds (Note: Quality of Life Change, character buff instead of enemy debuff).
  • Raiment of the Jade Harvester (6): Soul Harvest consumes your damage over time effects on enemies, instantly dealing 1200 seconds worth of remaining damage. In addition, Spirit Barrage damage is increased by 1800%.

Weapon Changes:

  • Gidbinn: Chance to summon a Fetish when attacking. Increases the damage of all your fetishes by 300-400%.
  • Scrimshaw: Reduces the Mana cost of Zombie Charger by 60% and increases its damage by 200-300%.
  • Suwong Diviner: Acid Cloud gains the effect of the Acid Rain rune and has its damage increased by 300-400%.
  • Deadly Rebirth: Grasp of the Dead gains the effect of the Rain of Corpses rune and each Enemy hit by Grasp of the Dead grants one stack of Corpse Knowledge. Corpse Knowledge increases the damage of your next Zombie Charger, Acid Cloud or Wall of Death by 150-200%.
  • Last Breath: Mass Confusion now gains the Devolution rune and has its cooldown reduced by 15-20 seconds.
  • Wormwood: Locust Swarm continuously plagues enemies around you. Afflicted enemies take 150-200% increased damage from your locust swarm, piranhas and corpse spiders.
  • The Spider Queen's Grasp: Corpse Spiders releases a web on impact that Slows enemies by 60-80% and spiders last three times as long.
  • Rhen'ho Flayer: Plague of Toads now seek out enemies and can explode twice for 300-400% additional damage.
  • The Dagger of Darts: Your Poison Darts and your Fetishes' Poison Darts now pierce and deal 300-400% increased damage.
  • Starmetal Kukri: Reduce the cooldown of Fetish Army and Big Bad Voodoo by 1 second each time your fetishes deal damage. In addition Big Bad Voodoo gains the Slam Dance rune.
  • Anessazi Edge: Enemies hit by a zombie dog have a 20% chance to be stunned for 1.5 seconds and sacrifice deals an additonal 100-150% damage.
  • Sacred Harvester: Increase your cooldown reduction by 4% per enemy harvested (Note: no longer 10 stack).
  • Mordullu's Promise: Firebomb generates 125 mana and each enemy afflicted with Acid Rain takes 300-400% damage from your Firebomb.

Offhand Changes:

  • Gazing Demise: Spirit Barrage gains the Phantasm rune. Each active Phantasm increases the damage of Spirit Barrage by 100-150%.
  • Shukrani's Triumph: Spirit Walk lasts until you attack or until an enemy is within 30 yards of you. After Spirit Walk ends you take 50% less damage for 7 seconds.
  • Vile Hive: Locust Swarm gains the effect of the Pestilence rune and deals 100-200% additional damage. (Note: Damage bonus moved to affix)
  • Uhkapian Serpent: 40-50% of the damage you take is redirected to your Zombie Dogs.
  • Thing of the Deep: Increases Gold and Health Pickup by 20 yards. Each picked up Health Globe grants a Chance to deal 10-20% Area Damage on Hit for 15 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times.
  • Wilken's Reach: Grasp of the Dead no longer has a cooldown and deals 100-150% additional damage. (Note: Damage bonus moved to affix)
  • Homunculus: A Zombie Dog is automatically summoned to your side every 2 seconds. In addition Sacrifice deals 100-150% additional damage. (Note: Damage bonus moved to affix)

Vodoo Masks:

  • Split Tusk: Zombie Charger now has a 40-50% chance to deal its damage twice or a 100% chance if Zombie Charger hits 3 or fewer enemies.
  • Carnevil: The 5 Fetishes closest to you will shoot a Poison Dart for 300-400% weapon damage every time you do.
  • The Grin Reaper: Chance when attacking to summon horrific Mimics each casting some of your equipped skills for 70-80% of your damage.
  • Visage of Giyua: Whenever your fetishes encouter an elite enemy, they enrage and gain 20% movement speed, 35% attack speed and 100% damage increase.
  • Jerams Mask: Pets deal 150-200% increased damage (No longer affects Spirit Barrage).

Other Item Changes:

  • Tall Man's Finger: Zombie Dogs instead summons a single gargantuan dog with 900% more damage and health than all other dogs combined. (Note: On live its 800%)
  • Ring of Emptiness: You deal 75-100% increased damage to enemies affected by either your Locust Swarm or Haunt or triple this bonus against enemies that are afflicted with both.
  • Jerams Bracers: Wall of Death deals 300-400% increased damage and can be cast up to three times within 2 seconds before the cooldown begins.
  • Shoulders of Giyua (NEW): Increase the movement and attack speed of all your pets by 20-30% for 15 seconds after using horrify or mass confusion.
  • Lakumbas Ornament: Reduce all damage taken by 12% for each stack of soul harvest you have. (Note: no longer soul harvest stacking to 10 times)
  • Hwoj Wrap: Locust Swarm also Slows enemies by 60-80% and has its range doubled.

Skill Changes:

Fetish Army:

  • Fetish Ambush: Each fetish deals an additional 25% damage but lasts only 15 seconds. (Note: Turns also fetish sycophants into undead fetishes)
  • Devoted Following: Decrease the cooldown of Fetish Army to 40 seconds.
  • Tiki Torchers: Summon an additional two Fetish casters who breathe fire in a cone in front of them and deal 300% of your weapon damage as Fire.
  • Head Hunters: Summon an additional two Hunter Fetishes that shoot blowdarts at enemies, dealing 400% of your weapon damage as Posion.


  • Wrathful Protector: Summon a more powerful Gargantuan to fight for you for 15 seconds. The Gargantuan's fists burn with fire, dealing 800% of your weapon damage as Fire and knocking enemies into the air.
  • Big Stinker: The Gargantuan is surrounded by a poison cloud that deals 180% weapon damage as Poison per second to nearby enemies.
  • Bruiser: The Gargantuan gains the ability to periodically slam enemies, dealing 600% of your weapon damage as Fire and stunning them for 3 seconds.


  • Angry Chicken: Transform into an angry chicken for up to 2 seconds that can explode for 1350% weapon damage as Poison to all enemies within 20 yards (up from 12 yards).


  • Banish one of your active Zombie Dogs causing it to explode, dealing 1090% of your weapon damage as Physical to all enemies within 20 yards (up from 12 yards).


  • Remove the collision of fetishes competely.
There is way too much going on in this post.

Some of your suggestions are reasonable/good. Try to narrow in on one or two changes and advocate for them.

A huge list of stuff (a) is unfocused, (b) doesn't contain supporting arguments, and (c) can be easy to dismiss because so much "is wrong" that it can come off whiny
omg i totally agree with alot i know when i first started playing WD the fire wall/acid could build was meta and omg it was so much fun id love to be able to play that build and have it be useful
