Akkhan Holy Machinegun GR100+ Build

Crusader
Hello everyone!
One of the craziest builds has arrived! A mix of three old builds using Fate of the Fell and high block chance with infinitely stacking Heaven's Fury. Pretty damn powerful now but very fishy as well, from salt to glory in seconds!

Dat boss kill was epic :D

I was actually asking myself how you gonna kill the boss without striken.

I guess there are not many other bosses that can chain proc the HF like that?
Great videos again. Thanks Angry.

Visually this build looks the most satisfying I reckon but possibly a bit too fishy compared to sweeper or blessed shield.

Does anyone know how area damage interacts with this set up? Specifically the rays from the ivory tower, the skill and the ticks on the blessed ground?

Also wondering how often miniare would proc with this too...

If it procs too often, nerf will be incoming...
Where doies it stands from the other build in term of GR ? It seems to me it would not be that high that the Sweeper one for example since you don't have the Withing Hour and the same ring.

It's somewhere near Condemn i would say, but it's very fishy and a lot of RNG required to get to high GRs.
Sweeper would be much easier to reach high GR
Punish celerity is there for extra block chance? I assume the rays tick their damage independent of the attack speed.

Yeah for block and an extra attack speed just for sheet damage.
Looks like the build is killed by Blizzard:

Will have to play a lazy Necro then :|
News of its death has been greatly exaggerated.

Phew.... the build is not wasted then!
Cool! Just got primal Fate of the Fell last night! It's a sign that I need to try this build!
Lol that was one of the most of not the most epic boss kill I have ever seen :)
Did someone try the build after the ICD hotfix? Is the damage there, as claimed by Don Vu?
Best boss kill of all time in the history of d3.
I’ve never seen a boss kill like this before, just epic. Any idea if the area damage is useful here? Got a few primals for this build and would like to try them.
Ivory Tower procs have no proc coefficient. They don't proc Area, LPH, Holy Cause, Stricken, Shield of Fury, etc.

By itself not, but I am not so sure with Heavens Fury skill equipped. Bombardment from the Belt of the Trove triggers area damage and stricken when the skill is equipped, for example.
There's no uncertainty. It is easily tested. Ivory Tower does not proc anything.

It's healthy to bring up context that might reveal how a particular mechanic works, but there is no substitute for in-game testing.

For some historical context, Belt of the Trove is an accident. Invoker 4pc didn't work during 2.4.1 PTR and instead of fixing the underlying issue, Blizzard gave it a proc coefficient as a bandaid while also giving the middle finger to "consistency".

For example, Gyana Na Kashu was explicitly given one when they were buffing LTK in 2.4.2. Halcyon's Ascent procs Strongarms, presumably because it's not a chance to proc, but that's an even grayer area.
