Seasons always last 3 months and the start date is 2/23/18. So........who's the moron now?

I'd say the one who flunked preschool-level math.

Indeed, it gave the start date. If you combine that with...
https://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/19993877#FAQ
Starting with Season 5, all seasons going forward will last approximately three months.
...some basic maths should give you an expected end date, i.e. 13 weeks after the start date.

It's amusing to see you insult other people's intelligence when it seems you're incapable of searching the forums and looking at a calendar.

Wouldn't 3 months be 12 weeks?
Sorry on phone and appently quoted entire comment. The rest I agree with.

Wouldn't 3 months be 12 weeks?

Not unless you think there's only 48 weeks in a year.

12 weeks per season is a valid assumption. As there is down time between season, which is around 1 week.
so (12+1)* 4 = 52

12 weeks per season is a valid assumption.
Season 10 - 85 days (12 weeks 1 day)
Season 11 - 92 days (13 weeks 1 day)
Season 12 - 94 days (13 weeks 2 days)

That's an average of 12 weeks 6 days.

As there is down time between season, which is around 1 week.
The gap between Season 10 and 11 was 27 days (3 weeks 0 days).
The gap between Season 11 and 12 was 20 days (2 weeks 6 days).
The gap between Season 12 and 13 was 12 days (1 week 5 days).

That's an average of around 2 weeks 6 days.

Quite simply, assuming four D3 seasons will fit in a calendar year isn't correct.
It just depends on your window of averaging
S6 : 12 weeks
S7 : 10 weeks
S8 : 10 weeks
S9 : 11 weeks
S10 : 12 weeks
S11 : 13 weeks
S12 : 13 weeks

81/7 = 11.5

Obviously it depends which months as they don't all have the same amount of days in them and also that there's slightly more than 52 weeks in a year but surely you admit that three months, being a quarter of a year, is approximately 13 weeks rather than 12?
My "guess" would be that either tonight or next Friday night they will announce the end (2 weeks prior to the ACTUAL end) of the season.
