GR 70 barb help

Barbarian
Hello everyone.

I recently came back to D3, grinded my season and wanted to develop my main barb. I started to hit a wall around GR 68. I struggled at 68 and got lucky with shrines and mob spawns (lightning shrine right into two elites groups and mini-boss for plethora of easy time) at 69. Overall im feeling that somehow performance limit for this toon right now.
Im running leap barb:

What would you guys change?
What i already know:
-Blade should be in hand not in cube (the one i use now just got waaay to much dmg to swap right now).
-Bane of the stricken to lvl 25 (i just swapped towards it when i started to struggle)
-more ancients - obvious.

Thanks for advice.
More CHC and CHD. Socket emerald to your weapon.

The weapon combo you'll need is Blade of the Tribes and Fury of the Vanished Peak. You have former cubed, so equip latter. The other way around would be however optimal.

Use Bracers of Destruction and Seismic Slam.

Ditch Mirinae and use Gogok of Swiftness instead.

This is my leap barb:

Haven't really pushed with it but can do GR75 in matter of minutes.

Oh, so no Boulder Toss at all? Interesting, will have to try that for sure! Thanks.
Ancient Spear - Boulder Toss doesn't seem to be a prefered skill choice for leap barb.

Seismic Slam can be used as damage dealer for the build and it's more practical for keeping F+R buffs up.
Heh it was back in season 6 when i played it last time :D

If your looking to make a Earthquake Leap build use my Barbarian profile to build. I will be honest there are a lot better builds like HOTA that are more powerful.

In depth and detailed, post there and you will get help.
1. Cube few 2h mighty weapons till you get ANY QUALITY Blade of the Tribes. this weapon rolls with 150-200EQ damage as primary roll which you are missing if you use it in cube. This roll alone is 2.5-3.0 multiplier to your damage and on its own is 5-8 GR levels

2. Girdle of Giants is stand-alone multiplier to EQ Damage, AFTER you will use Seismic Slam. Boulder Toss is outdated, use SS - Rumble for fury dump. This is another ~5+ GR levels

3. Get 33.33 CDR, so diamond in helmet and 2 rolls of 8% on gear (shoulder and gloves are easy spots). Max fury and CDR in paragon points are your priority.

4. Execute proper rotation

Leap/Leap/Leap/war cry/Slam

Leap/leap/leap/Thretening Shout/Slam

Leap/leap/leap/EQ from bar/Slam

You will be in constant motion, dealing damage all the time.

Use proper legendary gems, trapped/powerful and Stricken will be good for starters, higher up you will need to put Esoteric in.

5. Visit guide Blackarrows linked, it is written by rank 1 leap quake barb from season 8, 10 and highest LQ clear in NA on non season.

Me:)

6. Look on my seasonal barb, that’s 12 hours of solo play (for cosmetics)

It does 5 minute 75’s at 500 para, non ancient weapon, gear is hot mess, ingeom in cube for that content, for push Furnace.
Listen to Savage and read his guide quoted by Blackarrows.
Thank you all guys - just swapping back to Blade of The Tribes and Seismic Slam made me clear 70 with 7 minutes left lol....currently on 72 with no issues - that was a drastic improvement :D
The change to Seismic Slam and Girdle of Giants made Boulder Toss a thing of the past.
