:( no demon hunter changes.

LoN will allow all skills to be used like you want. No changes ? LOLLL
Okay, let's see...

Good:
- LoN power Season theme, will Haedrig's Gift be a thing?
- QoL changes and stash tabs

Bad:
- Necro and 'sader will demolish leaderboards thanks to LoN already.
- More Torments are unimaginative but not unexpected.
Now that we got this LoN season, it is very important that instead of free set gifts, we get free random ancient legendary gifts with Haedrig's Gifts.

Free sets will ruin the interesting progress granted by LoN theme.
Great changes, only lack of item changes made me a bit dissapointed and T14-T16 made me feel controversial.

5 stashes is overwhelmingly great! I was waiting for 1 at some point.

so, you collect cache.... wear a sage set (Level70) ... open the cache...
VOILA! double DB.
I don't think Sage's Journey Set works on Bounty Cache or CRift Cache, (if your Sage's Character is the one that opens them). The same is true for the Broken Crown when dropping the extra Gems. (Would be nice if that was changed with this new Patch though).

I find it weird that people still think Greater Rifts will remain capped at 150. Surely it would be increased to allow similar difficulty to Torment 14, 15 and 16 (and isn't explicitly mentioned in the notes because this should be a no brainer)?

Of course, on the other hand it might still be limited to 150 which would be nutty.
Um... GR150 is the equivalent of Torment 31.
Greater Rift to Torment Equivalents:
1 - 3 = Hard
4 - 6 = Expert
7 - 9 = Master
10 - 12 = Torment I
13 - 15 = Torment II
16 - 18 = Torment III
19 - 21 = Torment IV
22 - 24 = Torment V
25 - 29 = Torment VI
30 - 34 = Torment VII
35 - 39 = Torment VIII
40 - 44 = Torment IX
45 - 49 = Torment X
50 - 54 = Torment XI
55 - 59 = Torment XII
60 - 64 = Torment XIII
65 - 69 = Torment XIV
70 - 74 = Torment XV
75 - 79 = Torment XVI
80 - 84 = Torment XVII
85 - 89 = Torment XVIII
90 - 94 = Torment XIX
95 - 99 = Torment XX
100 - 104 = Torment XXI
105 - 109 = Torment XXII
110 - 114 = Torment XXIII
115 - 119 = Torment XXIV
120 - 124 = Torment XXV
125 - 129 = Torment XXVI
130 - 134 = Torment XXVII
135 - 139 = Torment XXVIII
140 - 144 = Torment XXIX
145 - 149 = Torment XXX
150 - 154 = Torment XXXI

To all you shortsighted fools that criticize and condemn this patch:
1. Get buggered.
2. Quit the game.

It's tough to work out how anyone could refute such a cogent argument but just to make sure maybe you should throw in a "Your momma's so fat...." joke as 3.

I will probably play my Demon Hunter in Season 17 too. I'll start with the Season 17, The Shadow's Mantle, Set. But, eventually switch to Marauder's or Unhallowed.

Regardless of which Set I use, the LoN buff will be lost on me, and other non-LoN players. LoN will not trigger if other Set bonuses are active.

So, yeah. No changes there.

Yeah, Demon Hunters have no viable LoN build and Fan Of Knives LoN takes a great deal of grinding to find the correct gear and augmentation just to peak at 90-95. Unless Blizzard buffs a lot more legendaries, a few classes won't have LoN builds worth pursuing.
Still nothing about grift balance.
Great to see that things are happening - looking forward to the next season already!
A few things that caught my eye:
Torment 14, 15, and 16 have been added to the game

If that means more mats from a bounty cache (at T16) and faster bounty farming as a result, I say hurray to that. Otherwise, meh...
Using an Ancient or Primal Puzzle Ring in Kanai’s Cube will produce a new result

Hurray, I knew that hoarding those would pay off one day! :D
PC: 5 additional stash tabs are now available
PS4/XB1/Switch: 140 additional stash spaces are now available

5 for PC versus 140 for console? Eh?

Each stash tab has 70 spaces.
So, PC is getting 5 x 70 spaces = 350 spaces.

PC gets 5 stash tabs.
Consoles on the other hand gets 140 stash spaces.

On consoles there's no online competition and all stash stuff is stored locally instead of online.
Although it's worth to remember that most items on PC take 2 squares of space. So 5 tabs equals space for 175 items. On consoles all items take one slot of space, regardless of its size.

140 items slots on console means they get ~4 tabs worth of more stash space.

DH won't be able to speedfarm T16 in LoN, I guarantee it.

They did half job here, cause LoN needs legendaries synergies to work. And they did not buff enough of them.
Theme will only work for WD,Necro and Crus. The rest of the classes will keep the same gameplay, the group meta won't change.

So, before act like a total retar*, think.

Not that I didn't like the idea of the free 5 stash, but wouldn't it be more fulfilling if they were earned through achievements? Loot game so let us hunt for rewards. Anyone else think this?

Those that earned the other tabs will have 17. So the 5 more free isn't bad.

I bet dh can do speed farm with multishot. Lon because to he discipline requirements won't be there and you could get about 100% fire damage just from cindercoat magefist, wd pants, bracers, neck.

T16 should be gr75 equivalent roughly. Every set in the game will be able to speed farm it to a degree.

The bad:
- More torment levels (this caused a major facepalm)

have fun at the new Torment carrot grinding;
-not needed, no positive effect at all.
-we already have Grifts and lose a nice casual ladder, with an endpoint.

-and now keep hiding the stash tabs behind season walls and we have 2 of the worst changes thinkable for D3.

-the rest of the patch looks good.
