Why can't we have LON buff in non season?

General Discussion
why?
Would be fun.
Lot of people just don't like to play season.
Because lot of people don't like to play season
Hence the reason it's exclusive to Seasonal play. The perks are to draw more players to that game mode.

I agree that it would be nice to have in NS though. Would allow for many different builds outside of Sets.
Its a theme for season. Just like RoRG was last season. This is to not completely affect the NS leaderboards. Season's arn't long enough to really have any characters more powerful then NS and seasons are a seperate leaderboard then NS. When NS is already clearing 150's, Any benefit that the season provides (Its really at most a few extra GR levels at the very max which is meaningless with 150's already being cleared).

And Blizzard wants people to play Season.

That’s why.

Yet there are many Seasonal players with paragon far above many NS players as I type this.

So which is it? Would allowing the LoN buff disrupt the NS boards as you stated, or would it be meaningless since players are clearing 150"s In NS as you also stated?

What disrupts the boards, are bots and cheaters. An Lon buff in NS wouldn't change who's on top.
Because it's a seasonal theme. It's not a non-seasonal theme.

And is it so surprising that a game mode which lasts limited amount of time has a special perk? It's an incentive to play that mode. If you want to benefit from that theme, play season. It's simple as that.

I'm not talking about players in the <2000 paragon range. Seasonal players are not getting 5000+ paragon (for the most part) which is mostly a requirement for the top GR Clears.
It wont necessarily change the Who but it will affect the clear times. When the buff goes away those times will then become impossible to beat as the buff is gone then. As an example a Max 150 clear in 10mins will become like a 150 clear in 7mins. When the buff goes away, the 7-10min times become impossible to beat. The Season characters won't have the items to change the NS boards as there isn't enough time so any buffs that affect NS does nothing to the top of the NS boards. A temporary buff on NS however WILL affect the top of the NS boards.

As stated, its a seasonal theme ment to draw people to play seasons. Your not forced too if it isn't your thing but its ment to be a draw in just like last season. The "Double Gob/bounties" from S15 and 14 didn't change mechanics and wouldn't affect the boards thus it was added in NS.
Non season lost their privilege when we had double bounty mats, and everyone in non season did nothing but bounties for three months so they, "never have to do them again".

I didn't; the odds of rolling anything good or even better is so low it turns bounties into a joke.
