multiple code error 1016

hi today my d3 game got multiple 1016 error.
like 5 times in a row.
My internet is fine and very fast when I'm browsing and doing other activities.

Why is this error occur?

How to solve the problem?
1016 is a general error code for network disconnection.

All your heroes are soft-core. They don't lost due to disconnection or whatever reason.

WinMTR is an independent program. It is not demanding. So, it is safe.
Follow the instructions in the article linked.
when I enter the IP address I do not see the game list only the hostname.
Just Copy Text to clipboard and paste the text here.
Support will do the analysis.

Anyway, glad that you have solved the issue.
No it has not worked. It keeps doing it like 4 times in a row.... i did the tests and the results was what i have posted. I do not understand what it means. For days it seemed that the game was running better but tonight it crash again.

So i see there is a topic on this. Well me and my friend have been getting the same problem. What is worse is that we play hardcore.

So what we found out, our connection is uninterrupted and works fine, we get thrown out at the same time. He lives in Austria as I live in Slovenia. Immediately after we got disconnected I asked him about his internet provider. And it turns out we have the same one. So is it possible the ISP provider has some issues and keeps disconnecting us?

The provider is A1 Telekom Austria and A1 Slovenija.
Yes I am on a wireless connexion plying on laptop, but I have a signal booster. I do not experience wi fi disconnection while surfing online or broadcasting my youtube channel(not a gaming one btw). Only on d3. I would understand if while surfing online my connexion would crash too. I have videotron a quebec provider. Speed at 10 or 12 Mbps.

Youtube has large buffer to hold few seconds content ahead.
So, can play youtube doesn't imply the connection is stable.
Online games don't use buffer.

ok but just by looking at the spped numbers I have mentioned would it expained my problem. Is it too slow like limit for gaming?

Looking at your log
In your first WinMTR log, all lines were masked. I can't tell anything from it.
In the second log (why only one line?)

^ I guess this is your modem. It had worst ping 73ms, average 9ms.

Compare against a wired connection, e.g. my router, the worst ping is <10ms, and average ping is 0ms (i.e. <1ms). My average ping to the server is 40-50ms.
(FYR: 1 second=1000ms)

I think the problem lies at the fluctuation, rather than at the ping time itself.
Your best time was 2ms and worst was 73ms. The time fluctuated a lot. That means data wasn't transmitted in a constant rate.

I got many 1016 earlier today. I couldn't finish a bounty.
The browser seemed "normal".
WinMTR logs showed 5% data packet loss in the first hop.
I had tried rebooting my router without any improvement.
Finally, I powered off both router and modem for 10 minutes, and then powered on again. And no more 1016.
