Diablo 3 Freezes badly in SSD

Well, I don't understand why in the world a moderator need to close a topic just because it is old, since the issue we are having is still the exact same, but since he suggested creating a new thread, here I am.

I'm experience huge freezes in this game. I've noticed 2 type of freezes: 1 minor like half a second during gameplay, just right after I load a new screen, teleport from one town to another, etc. The other freeze completely locks the fps for 10 to 30 seconds, then starts coming back slowly, with a number of smaller freezes for the next 10-15 seconds. These happens when I first enter the game from the menu. So it's clear to me it's a issue the game has with the hardware it is physically installed.

I noticed the game runs much worse in SSDs. It's faster, but I get much more freezing issues. I used to get 90% less freezing/slowdowns in HDDs.

To back up my assumptions (and to add to my desperation), I just bought a new PC, (new SSDs), and the same problem happens when I'm running the game on SSD. From 2011 to 2018 I played D3 on a OCZ Vertex 4 256 GB SSD, now it's installed on a Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1 TB.

My internet connection is pretty much always stable and I get 35 ms of ping 99% of the time. Doesn't seem related to internet connection.

I've tried the fix on that old topic that was locked for some reason. It didn't help me either.

My specs:

- i9 9900k
- Gygabyte AORUS Master
- 32 GB Ram of Corsair Vengeance PRO C16 @ 3200 Mhz
- RTX 20180 Ti
- Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1 TB
- Well hydro cooled and PSU powered

I'm going to try installing on a secondary SSD, maybe the game is competing with background apps for SSD atention.
Same issue here.

Specs:
i7-9700k @5.1ghz on 8 cores all the time
Gigabyte Aorus Ultra
32 GB of g.skill Tridentz @3200Mhz
Asus RTX2080
Crucial P1 500gb nvme m.2
All of my temps are well below any threshold, sub 50c on my cpu and sub 80c on my gpu.
I has same issue here.
Try to install x86 &x64.
