Just spent the past 15 min not playing d3...

General Discussion
Because I've been bouncing between lobbies with ongoing GRs.

Blizzard why fix something that wasn't broken?

We used to (properly) not be able to join ongoing greater rifts in pubs. What the hell made you think changing that was a good decision? Seriously man it's just baffling. Do you guys even play your own game???
Workaround...
Start a private game
Press escape and choose the button that opens your game to the public
Hey presto, a GR game with 4 players ready to start a GR
Even more anoying is joining a pub labeled rift and someone is busy doing a grift and re enter the same game when you exit and join
15 min is exactly what a GR takes to do... what exactly would be the problem of waiting that first one you joined finish?
It was indeed a crap feature to enable.

Nobody wants to join existing GR's, sitting waiting and doing nothing. Most people just quit and find another group.

It was done due to a waning player base to ensure people dont fail to find a group, problem is it hasnt helped at all, its just made it more aggravating. In fact its done the opposite, it now takes longer to get into GR's as u have to deal with being placed into groups already inside a GR, resulting in you quitting and searching again.

I load this game up to play it, not sit waiting for someone to get done with their playtime.

Do you join games and sit around for 10 minutes to actually play or do you leave the group?
Here's an idea:

Disable the feature for seasons

Leave it for NS

NS actually needs it because there isn't enough players playing, so they will wait out a GR complete in order to not waste more time if the group has the right people. Seasons has enough players playing to just join a new game easily and get a decent group going.
Your life was probably better when you were playing this redundant garbage.
