I can't decide who to tank with.

General Discussion
I'm torn between the Monk and Barbarian. They both look capable of tanking in inferno easily. I have always been a fan of the paladin and the Monk seems like that direction, but I don't know what to do!

Barbarian is all Wrath of the Berserker and cleave and lots of mobility.
Monk uses combo's which is new.

I can't wait to play and finally decide!
Paladin, DK, Warrior, and Druid are all perfectly viable tanks. Choose the one with the playstyle that best suits you.
-_-
I'm pretty sure barbarian will tank large packs better than monks. I think monks are going to rely a bit more on using mobility to limit the number of things attacking them at any given time.

Rogue tanks are pretty fun to.
Monk has more group utility than Barburrian, imo.
Use rockbiter and tank.
Shaman was clearly meant to be offtank.

Shaman if you pull Nightbane off the tank one more time you're gone.
Monk has tons of awesome self heals and enemy AOE damage reduction. Plus the defensive capabilities of the Mantra's are juicy. Also Dodge is off the chain.

Barbarian has boss cooldowns to pop for days. The shouts are also amazing. Plus Barbarian has several skills that draw enemies in and even an AOE taunt. AFAIK Monk lacks taunts.
I think Barbarian will do a better job in tanking.

Barb skills are more for Multi target tanking, multiple stuns, Group Damage/Buffs, etc.etc

While for Monks, I see him as an effective Group Healer, Great Grp DPS and for Single play, i think Monks has the highest chance for survivability.

That's only my opinion 8D

It was an accident! I didn't mean to hit him THAT HARD.
Barbarian has cleave that will draw enemies in as well as Leap Attack.

Monk has tons of debuffs though.
