Don't get bash all riled up now..........last time he got angry it was bad...........ever hear of the dark ages.....
My question is if she is Asian or not?

Like you have to admit, if you look at the series of art of her she has a different apperence. In art we are drawn to the eyes, so its the most noticeable thing thats been altered.

She's asian.
They're by Brom...

YOU'RE TERRIBLE.

who's brom?

I don't know much about Brom, but I do know he's illustrated Magic cards in the past:

http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&artist=[%22Brom%22]

Knowing that art is by the same guy who drew Hatred and Call of the Wild is pretty cool. I don't know how to tell who drew something unless it's pretty obvious, like the artist credit on the cards...

I gotta go look at all my cards now. I didn't even realize it!

This thread gave me the giggles.

Edit: Admittedly, I think brom is more well known to me because I was a BIG fan of Dark Sun..and most of the people I know were introduced to his work through Dark Sun...I dunno. Maybe his distinct style was more...apparent in that medium, and it's more obvious if you know him through that medium?

yup! remember this?

It's art. What's the point of creating your own art if you're just going to copy the exact concept that someone else has already made? Each artist has their own interpretation of the subject and I think these pictures are great. Because I don't expect everything to look exactly how they appear in the cinematic. It keeps things interesting. Brom's artwork is amazing!
I'm not sure which site you're referring to, but almost every picture of Diablo III's classes are sick nasty awesome...kind of besides Female Monk, I don't like the punk-hair-due; but that is just me, other hairstyles look amazing on her.
I love how many people wave the 'subjective' flag around, then criticize others for not appreciating his art. I do think he is amazing though.
GG op nice troll on a blue...cause there is NO WAY YOU THINK BROM SUCKS
>not knowing who Brom is

You never played Magic?!?!!?

This and his work is awesome stunning artwork! :)

I learned about Brom because I was big into Dragon Lance. Whenever I'd go browse the Dragon Lance books, I'd pick up a few Forgotten Realms and Dark Sun novels and check out the cover art. My favorite cover is from The Crimson Legion:

Brom is just a bad@ss artist. Love his style. IMO the monk is really well done. Even the wizard has a cool, unique look. Barbarian is my favorite though. The way he rendered the horns I think is just cooler than sh-t. Totally dig that piece. Would be nice if we could see them in higher res.
Seriously? The OP just linked being Asian to 'looking retarded'?
I think it's interesting on the Darkness Falls, Heroes Rise site, the Witch Doctor and Wizard have the exact same pose...

Brom is a mad genius of fantasy art, and I agree with the sentiment of 'put up or shut up'. You got some better art? Post it.

As an amateur illustrator myself, I frequently find myself playing with certain poses repeatedly to refine them. Also, with the limited page layout to be played with, there's only so much that's going to happen with the pose of the subject.
Hah, I knew Ive seen that art style before. Tis' like more than 10 years ago when I last played M:tg.

Bad art imo.
Its not 'bad' art, its just not 'pretty' art that so many people are used to these days.

Edit: Also we need more blue aggression against ignorant people like this, its really uplifting.
