Obtaining System Information
    1. Hold the 'Option' Key and choose System Profiler/Information from the Apple Menu.

    2. Copy the information from the following sections:
  • Hardware (remove the Serial Number line)
  • Graphics/Displays
  • Software (remove the Computer Name and User Name lines)

This is small step for me, but big step for humanity. Or something like that...
I hate to say this, but right now the best settings are running D3 in Bootcamp on Windows 7. The performance issues are on all macs regardless of how awesome your system is.

I've found that I get passable gameplay (20-30 fps) by lowering the resolution one notch.
Machkhan, optimized settings would be greatly appreciated.

and this. maybe even two notches. and everything set to low/off.

if you're not willing/able to commit to boot camp, set everything to low/off, screen res to 800*600 and tweak your pref file to disable trilinear filtering: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5235393584?page=1
