graphics card for diablo 3 and starcraft 2

Games & Technology
I am building a tower and i have a budget i am currently looking at the AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card.

Do you think this will run diablo3 on high graphics?

\Also do u think i could run StarCraft2 on ultra?

Thanks for the help i am not that great with computers.
What is your current computer build so far then
CPU: AMD FX-4100 3.60 GHz Quad-Core AM3+ CPU 4MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology
HDD: 500GB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 16MB Cache 7200RPM HDD [-58] (Single Hard Drive)
MEMORY: 8GB (2GBx4) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair or Major Brand)
MOTHERBOARD: * [CrossFireX] GigaByte GA-970A-D3 AMD 970 Socket AM3+ ATX Mainboard w/ On/Off Charge, 7.1 Audio, GbLAN, USB3.0, SATA-III RAID, 2 Gen2 PCIe X16, 3 PCIe X1 & 2 PCI
VIDEO: AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card (Major Brand Powered by AMD)
it has a liquid cool fan as well. im getting this setup for around 850. bucks
I believe the Radeon HD 7770 1GB will run Diablo 3 at Max settings with great frame rate.
If you haven't bought them yet, ditch the AMD FX + AMD motherboard for an Intel build.

I would also consider upgrading to HD 6870, which isn't for much more and will be noticeably better than the HD 7770.
thanks i have not ordered it yet. i was thinking of doing so today.

Do you think that i could run starcraft maxed out with that setup?
its only 30 more bucks for the HD 6870
Is the HD 6870 crossfire able?
Yes, you can crossfire HD 6870, but it's usually a lot better to go with a single strong GPU

Also requires proper motherboard support -- namely, it should support 16x/8x for PCI-E speed. For PCI-E 16x 2.0 slot, if it goes down to 4x when in in CrossFireX mode, you will see performance penalty
Right on thanks bro.
hd 7770 doesn't run diablo 3 really well
i would rather buy an hd 6870, or 6850 if you have a budget.
Diablo 3 without vsync suffers from terrible stuttering and tearing, thus 50 fps is not enough
what would i need to do about my driver to play on diablo 3 it gives me there error message about th driver and graphics card
You can fit a 7850 into a 800 dollar budget
Haf 912 or antec 300 case

That'll play about any game out on high

If you add windows 7 it comes to 750

Edit* oh ibuy or whatever....see if there's a microcenter or local computer shop that'll put a computer together for you if you bring in the parts. It'll cost 50 bucks usually. So that'll put you right around 800 (or less if you have Windows 7 already)
