Thanks for the quick reply. Well I found my nvidia card under device manager and it said that the driver was up to date. I just changed the power settings to max. How will I know if the problem is solved?
If D3 runs smooth with no problem.
Hmm, well it definitely doesn't. It's super slow and laggy. Could that be due to my latency?
It is probably still using Intel graphics.
Yeah thats what I'm thinking. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Edit: I just added Diablo 3 to the list using Nvidia's controller. Now when I started it, it recognized my Nvidia card, still said that the driver was out of date which it isn't, but still the game plays exactly the same.

Edit #2: I finally got it fixed. Runs great on maxed out settings now with my 630m. Loving this game.
hi, thanks for the very useful post.

for AMD, you mentioned that prior to HD 6000 series, the "8" meant it was the flagship, "7" being performance, and "6" being mainstream and that now they have all moved up a step.

does that mean that HD 5650 will run relatively ok?
5650 should be relatively OK.
Le bump.

my graphics card is unsupported ... Will AMD Radeon HD 6450 be good enough??
Yes, it will run D3, but as the original post says, don't expect too much from an HD 6450.
Thanks, what graphics card would you recommend I can spend $350
Assuming your computer is a fat mid tower, I recommend HD 7750.
Ok. I'll check newegg for one. Thanks
Oh, whats the difference between the sapphire and diamond..?
ok turns out my CPU was bad so I am getting a new rig. would these stats be able to play D3?

Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-2600 3.40 GHz 8M Intel Smart Cache LGA1155
GFX: AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB 16X PCIe Video Card
RAM: 8GB (2GBx4) DDR3/1333MHz Dual Channel Memory
HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)
Power supply is 700W
Prodigy: None, although Sapphire brand is lot more popular for AMD cards

Pillow: Yes, but it's a severe overkill for D3. How much is this PC?

I wanted this to last awhile so I don't have to upgrade often
$1200 is overpriced, and you don't have to pay that much for a gaming PC that would last you a while.

Are you willing to build your own? You can optimize your cost here while ensuring you get the high-end stuff.

Check this out, if you are:
I have literally zero technical experience for building a PC so that would not be the best option.
