Top 5 Games of all Time CONT...

Games & Technology
My Top 5 Games
1- Final Fantasy 3 (US)
2- Final Fantasy 7
3- Baldur's Gate 1-2-ToB (yea I'll put them all together)
4- Suikoden 2
5- Phantasy Star 2

My Most Disappointing Game
- Wizardry Online, so far. I know it's in open beta but DAMN, I've played Wizardry since 19XX and this is too bad.
Top 5

1. Castlevania (pretty much all of them for any system)
2. Silent Hill 2
3. Ninja Gaiden ( nes)
4. Conker's Bad Fur Day (n64)
5. FF7 (ps1)

Biggest dissapointment - Silent Hill 4 The Room, it was okay but it's my least favorite in the series

1. Vanilla WoW: Best game ever created and its customer base proved it.
2. DoTA/Warcraft3: First of the MoBA gotta give it the respect it deserves
3. Starcraft bw/2: best RTS
4. Counter Strike: Best shooter
5. Diablo 2/3: 2 is better so far but had more patches and an expansion.

1. FF10: The final fantasy i sunk the most hours into, best story line imo(ff7 created best characters).
2. Skyrim: Overall great game that most games will try and mimic now.
3. Super Smash brothers(Original): God the competition with friends.
4. Call of Duty: Extremely fun altho i do not play it anymore
5. Contra: Oh god this was so fun.
1. Starcraft 1
2. Diablo 2 + LOD
4. Counter Strike (early stages until and including v1.6)
5. World Of Tanks
Tetris. On the original game boy.

Nothing else has really come close.
No particular Order, too. But I guess with those games I spent the most time ever, expect D3.

Counter Strike 1.6 & Source (PC) - Everyone was talking and playing it, and then came my first clan with people all over Europe. We even met in real, in London, Paris and Berlin! I miss those times!

Doom (PC) - Unbelievable for its time, I couldn't stop playing all (!!!!) FPS Games till the XBob ports started ;P

Dawn of War I & II (PC) - for me the best RTS Series. Even if they are both so diferent.

Turrican I & II (C64) (In fact all Rainbow Arts Games on C64)

Vanguard (Atari 2600) - My first Actiongame ... I'm not sure if it is a good game but first is still first, right?

Disappointed? I dont remember really, try to forget it as fast as possible ;) but my last one was Alpha Protocol, what a lousy Game (in my eyes).

Besides that? All FPS Ports that screwed the good old Shooters like: Doom, Quake, Duke, SoF, FEAR and so on ...
My god you people are young...

1) Ultima Online: Second Age
2) Marathon 2
3) Baldur's Gate
4) Asheron's Call (Guild Wars 2 reminds me of this one)
5) Total Annihilation (Best RTS ever made hands down)

Closer runner-ups:
Battlefield 3
Halo 3
Subspace (Continuum) (A 2D space fighting game)
Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight (The multiplayer and storyline in this game was just sick)
Escape Velocity
Quake 3 (For customizable multiple player once it went open source)
GoldenEye 007
Warcraft II

Biggest disappointments:
1) Mechwarrior Online
2) Diablo 3 =/
My list is:

1. Diablo II
2. Ultima V
3. Boulder Dash
4. Dino Eggs
5. Star Maze (1982 Sir-Tech)

Worst game: I have no idea. Since I don't play the games that suck, how am I supposed to know what their names are??
Suikoden 1
Lords of Magic
Bioshock 2
Dark/Demon Souls
Final Fantasy 8... most peoples least favorite, but Triple Triad was easily the most addicting mini game in the entire series.

All these games have replay value for my personal taste... and my mind could change tomorrow, but these 5 were the first to come to mind at the moment.
In no order.

World of Warcraft
Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Silent Hill
Final Fantasy VIII
Dragon Age: Origins (I've never even finished it, but from the ground up it's just a fantastic game that I always go back to.)

So many...but mainly (not in order).....

Age of empires series
Warcraft series
Starcraft series
Diablo series

Why?...cos i managed to drag my kids into gaming amid all the shellings from wifi!

Today!... they are all crazy over DOTA!
Countdown to the top:

5) The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
4) Mass Effect (the first one)
3) Diablo 2: Lord Of Destruction
2) Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
1) Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Biggest disappointment, recently i'd say Bioshock 2 and pratically every Assassin's Creed after the first two. Would be too easy to say D3, i truly hope in some more patches, i still don't give up believing :P
In no particular order (explanation in parenthesis):

1. Modem Wars (ground breaking PC v. PC via null modem developed by late Dan Bunten)
2. Shadowbane (best world pvp mmorg for it's time)
3. Lineage 1 (despite graphics was best guild v. guild pvp)
4. X-Wing (LucasArts at it's pinnacle)
5. Ultima: Underworld (another ground breaker)

Biggest disappointment: Return to Castle Wolfenstein
1) Final fantasy VII (followed by rest of series)
2) Metal gear solid
3) Demon/Dark Souls
4) Xenogears
5) Suikoden Series

Most disappointing game: Aion...that game started out beautifully in the beginning areas. Then it just turned into a mess =(
Glad someone started another one of these threads. Here are my top 5:

Dragon Warrior (1)-Started the whole RPG infatuation that I have
Secret of Mana- Reinforced the infatuation
All the Final Fantasy games (maybe not all equally, but they hold a special place in my heart, and this does include the MMO XI)
Diablo II
Starcraft I

Honorable mention: WOW, COD, Tetris, Super Mario Brothers, Contra, Pacman, and Zelda
Edit: will add Doom I/II and Golden Eye to the honorable mention list
Can't only choose 5, so here's my top 10 xD:

Planescape: Torment
Silent Hill 2
Diablo II
Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines
Devil May Cry 3
Max Payne 1,2
Fallout: New Vegas
Thief: Deadly Shadows

As for most disappointing... Idk xD I tend to forget most things that disappointed me xD Fallout 3 felt like a letdown at the time, I guess xD But that's because I had very different expectations when it came out. I now think it's a pretty good game.
1. FF X
2. RE 4 (NGC)
3. Bioshock
4. D2 + LoD
5. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Worst for me has to be FF XIII.
Secret of Mana (Snes)
Zelda : Link's Awakening (GB)
Final fantasy VII (ps1)
Super Metroid (Snes)
Fallout 1+2 (PC)

DIII (after lvl 60) hopefully it gets better loot system/Mature content..
So many, with different genre and technology advancements making it pretty hard to compare, but here are five all time favorites in no particular order:

Warcraft 2
Starcraft Brood Wars
Diablo Series (1, 2 & 3)
Planes of Torment/Baldurs Gate Series
Doom (original had the biggest impact I think)

Most disappointing Dungeon Siege ... I can't believe this game made some peoples top five list, just goes to show we are all very different.
Final Fantasy 7
Diablo 2
World of Tanks
Fallout 3
Resident Evil
