Public wi-fi problems?

Mac Technical Support
Ever since I showed up at my university to live in the dorms for the summer a week ago, I've been unable to connect to battle.net through the hearthstone launcher. I get the error code "Login Server Unavailable", Error: BLZBNTBGS80000021. I ran though the associated troubleshooting, but I wasn't able to find success.

I have started to suspect it's some kind of problem with the university wi-fi here; I am using the 'guest' wi-fi here at the university. It seems to run plenty fast, and I am able to stream netflix and youtube videos on it easily; I am not sure what about the wireless prevents me from getting on hearthstone, or whether there is anything I can do about it.
I have the exact same problem and have no idea what to do about it.
If it's a campus network, sometimes the system administrators need to forward certain ports for their users. I would contact your campus's IT department and request that the following ports be opened:

Battle.net Desktop Application: 80, 443, 1119 and 6881-6999
Hearthstone: 119, 3724

You can also try to telnet to Battle.net to see if the connection is succeeding.
