hello,

when i try to start hearthstone i crashes immediately.
i have put the crash reports and the dxdiag here in this google drive folder:

can anyone tell me what is wrong?

Processor: n.v.t.

This seems very odd. It should be referencing your CPU there, but it's instead showing something I've never seen before?

Nothing really stands out immediately other than that. Your sound drivers are old, but I don't think that'd cause full failure (at least not in most cases.)

Can you play other 3D games? Can you run benchmarking tools like 3dMark?
well the processor is a intel i5 2.40 GHz, its indeed strange that it doesn't get recognized.
the computer is a laptop acer aspire 5750
it dos run other games like minecraft, kerbal space program and portal.

i figured that hearth stone shouldn't be a problem.
It wouldn't if it could detect your graphic chip. I'm surprised you haven't had more issues. You'll need to find the drivers for whatever graphics chip is in there. Either from Acer, or from Nvidia if it's an Nvidia chip. If it's the same model as one I found specs for it looks like that's an Intel chip.
the graphic chip is a integrated intel HD3000. the drivers are up to date as far as i can tell.
i updated the intel driver before i came here. it didn't make a difference
basbr,

From your output_log.txt file:

d3d: no support for this device type (accelerated/ref)
D3D9 initialization failed, trying OpenGL

This is why you're having trouble. The game can't use OpenGL to run.

From your dxdiag info under the display device:

D3D Status: Disabled

This is why the game isn't able to use Direct 3D which is causing it to try OpenGL above.

The first thing to try is simply to reboot if you haven't already. Other than that, you should reinstall the drivers you have for the Intel HD3000.

thanks for all the support i appreciate it a lot.
after fiddling with the driver a bit, it improved the situation a slightly.
now when i start hearthstone it doesn't crash immediately but it gets to the main menu.
if i try to play, arena or solo adventure or even open the options it crashes.

i re-uploaded the crash files and the dxdiag.txt here:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B0B_bDFBLFILSnZiNVN1eGY3RU0&usp=sharing
the only thing i can find is that ig4icd32.dll caused a access violation.
is there a remedy for this problem

thank you in advance

basbr,

From your output_log.txt file, nothing has changed.

d3d: no support for this device type (accelerated/ref)
D3D9 initialization failed, trying OpenGL

The same goes for your dxdiag,

D3D Status: Disabled

With that disabled, you won't be playing games.

Can you describe what you did when you tried "fiddling with the driver a bit"? Did you reinstall them from the link I provided as I suggested?

You might also check this Microsoft support article to wee if it helps.
