Technical Support
Hello everyone. I have read a lot of topics and solutions to fix this problem (Closed. You were disconnected from the Battle.net service. Please relaunch Hearthstone to reconnect.) but I can't launch Hearthstone anymore.

A couple of weeks ago I was playing Hearthstone without any trouble. Now I can't even start the game. I'm on modified version of Windows 7. Other Blizzard's games works fine. I tried:
- uninstall entire game and battle.net with cleaning cache
- repair files from battle.net
- set DNS - for ipv6: 2001:4860:4860::8888/2001:4860:4860::8844; for ipv4: 8.8.8.4/8.8.4.4
- unlock Hearthstone ports
- I don't have SDD
- clean host file
- uninstall Networx software
- deactivate firewall
- I don't have any anti-virus
- launch battle.net and Hearthstone as a admin and with Win 7 compatibility.
- flush DNS
- try to connect without router - the same problem
-

Please, help me guys. I can't even play on mobile phone, because I'm out of memory. :(
Hey Dropsen,

I was not sure what you mean by "modified". Depending on what was changed that could be the cause of the trouble. To ensure any of the games work properly you will want to run an official version of Windows from Microsoft.

On top of that I do have some additional steps for you to try. If Hearthstone is still getting this error please post a DxDiag and Hearthstone Error Logs.

• To be on the safe side make sure Windows and the drivers in the computer are up to date.

• Run the computer in a selective startup mode.

Please run a full scan of the computer with an security program.

• I have seen some security programs cause this to happen before. Temporarily disable any security program.

• Let's change Hearthstone graphicsquality options
1) Press the Windows + R keys
2) In the Run Box type %localappdata% and press OK
3) Open the Blizzard Folder and then open the Hearthstone folder
4) Open Options file in Notepad. Change the graphicsquality= option to the value 0, 1 or 2. You may need to try each value to see what will work. Will look like graphicsquality=0
5) Save the Options file and then launch Hearthstone.

First of all, I want to thank you for respond.

In the end of the comment I'll attach dxdiag and hearthstone's logs.

My drivers are up to date. I run the computer in a selective startup mode. I did everything but game still isn't loading. I also run full scan of the computer with Kaspersky and then with Malwarebytes (I didn't have any security software before).

Finally I changed Hearthstone graphic quality from 0 to 2. Still I can't play HS..

I have official Win 8 but it works too slow on my old pc. By modified I mean Windows without spyware updates, home screen, sample photos, music and video, windows media center, windows maker, useless startup software, games etc. This version works a lot faster and it's official but I can call it 'lite'. But couple of weeks ago I was playing Hearthstone without any trouble on the same Windows so.. I think system isn't key to fix it :(

Thank you for posting the info. I see that the computer is has Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset as the video card. So know this video card is not supported for Hearthstone. Even Intel is not supporting this video card anymore. That does mean anything we try may help fix this. Hopefully note

• Set Hearthstone to be in windowed mode.

• Let's set the Battle.net App to close when a game is running.
    1) On the Battle.net App click on the big Battle.net icon in the upper left corner.
    2) Then click on Settings from the dropdown menu that opens up.
    3) In the General preference tab, under the When I launch a game field, select Exit battle.net completely.
    4) Click on done and launch Heroes of the Storm

In the Windows power settings make sure they are set to High Performance.

• If the computer is overheating, it can cause all sorts of issues. Please check to see if the computer is overheating.
Hey Eleomaz, I have the same problem. Hearthstone works on my phone but not my PC, and other Blizzard games work fine. Maybe you could take a look at my details and see if anything stands out?

DxDiag:

output_log.txt:

I couldn't find connectlog.txt anywhere.

My drivers are up to date and I tried everything else you suggested.

Thanks!

Hi. I know my graphic card is unsupported but I was ABLE to play this game! Holy moly. I'm not running for the first time. I don't get why I can't play like couple of weeks ago.

Windowed mode and closing battle.net app didn't work. My computer isn't overheating and is set to High Performance..

Ok nevermind, the newest patch just fixed it for me, thanks anyway!
Yeah. Like @NERO said, patch worked for me too. I would like to know reason of our issues.
