Tyrande, oh where oh where

At this point I actually just want to know what the hold-up is. I mean they can't tell us that they haven't found a fitting date to bring her back yet (I mean, it's been over a year + christmas was just a 2 days ago), so there is either something, or someone, in the way or Blizzard is a sadistic company. If they - for some reason - don't have the rights / means to bring her back, why not just say it outright instead of telling us "She's coming back, we can't tell you when though" for over a year.
I feel at this point it's just a running gag and we're all unknowingly a part of some sadistic sitcom......the carrot on the stick...the thorn in our sides, the fly in our ointment
Not having access to Tyrande is the #1 reason I never play Priest. Anduin just isn't for me, but sadly there's no other alternative, and let's face it, Tyrande would be the best alternative even if there were others. If there's a heroes tab... fill it with more heroes rather than a small handful in the many years HS has been live.

It's been over 2 years since Tyrande was released. We know HS is owned by a tiny Indie company that barely communicate with the community, but consider reactivating the promotion or bring her back as a paid hero, etc. Just give people a chance at acquiring her again.

More variety and personalisation is exactly what players want. It's why so many games have skins, minions, outfits etc. Let us play as heroes we actually want to play and increase player retention and spending as a result.

Please consider re-adding Tyrande and expanding the pool of Heroes players can choose from. Take our money. Please the players. Get with the times. Thank you.

Seriously. This. If Blizzard is not able to bring her back for whatever reason, they should just be transparent and tell us that she can't come back.

Even though Steve Jobs is talking about another company in the video, it is basicly Blizzard at this point. The company is failing due to it`s corporate deafness.

"The sales people generally have no feelings in their heart about what it means to help the customer."
Still no news about Tyrande??? Guess i am not coming back to Heartstone.
I want Tyrande :( Twitch Prime deal again or something please :)
1 hour later and it will be 2019. Hopefully we will get her next year :)
happy holidays all :) wish we can get her this year.
A hero, which was released in 2016 with region-lock and we still just wish her first appearance in our "third-rank" countries in 2019 (the second-rank countries are in Asia, where additional promotion happened). EU must be that important to Activision-Blizzard, is not it? Blizzard's attitude about customer care in a nutshell.
Any updates on Tyrande yet? I'm dying to get her.

Also, if we get updates, where would they be found? In this post, or the blizzard app etc?
Blizzard, in 2018 your stock dropped from $85 to as low as $44, a huge -48% loss in stock price. Are you still not getting the big picture? If you keep customers happy, your shareholders will be happy.

A better explanation/communication for an alternative Priest skin is much needed in this HS community, and all you did was avoiding to answer anything. This has been going on for more than two years!

Seriously Blizzard, please wake up! I like HS but this reflects very poorly on how much care you give to your customers.
Just voicing my interest in information when and how tyrande will be available. Thanks!
Just was wondering, can we get an explanation on why releasing Tyrande is such a big deal for Team 5 when they release her? It's been 829 days since her initial release.

I understand that there are some "partnership issues" as Jesse mentioned before, but what exactly? Maybe Team 5 can finally explain to us when the NDAs are all invalidated?
I am curious which part "wasn't correct." Let's break that down and look at the parts that are relevant to this discussion. Was it:

-they are having troubles

The stock prices and their metrics are down across the board (which included hearthstone's) from their last quarterly report.

-they can’t understand that it will be solved when the customers will be happy

Customer dissatisfaction is usually a reason for declining numbers. I won't go so far to say the Tyrande debacle is the end all of it for hearthstone...but it is a microcosm of issues team 5 has with hearthstone in general (lack of real communication, not following through on promises, stated values not lining up with company practices, etc).

Having said that, there are a growing number of "no Tyrande, no hearthstone" people out there.

Happy customers buy products. Happy customers recommend others to buy products. Unhappy customers will do the opposite of these. This is business 101.

-they don’t want to admit that.

This part, while vague is fairly accurate no matter which "that" one is discussing. Tyrande is all but on repeat for the same message we've heard for years now with no real updates or movement on the issue. The turnovers at team 5 happened without any word or reassurance from anyone here, aside from some generic "keep calm and keep buy...er, carry on" message. The current issues with actiblizz financially should have some kind of reassurance from team 5 to their customers...but we hardly hear from them so it's par for the course.

-It’s been 2 years.

Perhaps this was what was "wrong." Technically, two years exactly comes next month for the "year of the mammoth" promise:

https://www.invenglobal.com/articles/1165/qa-session-with-producer-yong-woo-about-the-past-present-and-future-of-hearthstone

As the date on the article was February 24, 2017. However the original promotion was back in October of 2016...so people saying 2 years in the general calendar sense wouldn't be inaccurate. Someone would have to go digging to find out when the initial announcement was made, which would push the date back even more. In any case...people have been waiting over two years for Tyrande.

-this is enough to understand everything.

I suppose that depends on one's definition of everything. I understood it to mean about Tyrande and the hearthstone issues related to her and the larger problems connected to her return being delayed. I suppose if someone meant "everything" everything (in the "life, the universe, and everything" sense) they would be disappointed.

All in all, I think sinister was spot on, though if anyone disagreed I would like to hear them give an actual rebuttal as opposed to a "you're wrong" kind of post. After all, this is a discussion forum.

Agreed. You can't solve a problem unless you have a dialogue. You can't make a problem go away by pretending it doesn't exist.
It's pretty clear that Blizzard doesn't see any point in communication / dialogue about this issue. They have stated over and over again that

1) She is coming back.
2) They don't know when. (Yes, Yong Woo stated the year of the mammoth but clearly that ship has sailed for what ever reason and he is no longer with the company to address this)
3) When there is something to announce they will.

Clearly there is no value for them to continue to restate the same thing over and over again no matter how much the community here wants to complain and ask about it. That is the choice that the company can make and instruct their employees to follow.

I truly believe that Jessie has told us everything that they are authorized to tell us. When that changes...I honestly believe that they will update us and it will be shouted loudly from the rooftops... am I frustrated, yes. Am I disappointed, yes. Do I still want Tyrande, yes. Do I think that continuing to badger Jessie and complain about a lack of response or answer that they can't give will get us there faster, at this point, not really.
