Did not get Arena rewards?

I checked my collection and restarted the app multiple times but still did not receive any rewards after my run was retired for halloween.
@Nick: Be aware that the rewards were added when the run was ended (Oct 17 midnight - when you were probably not online). Not when you clicked through the Arena screen to see the rewards. So you would never see your gold, dust, or cards increase if you checked before and after opening the rewards since that is just a visual thing.

If you are sure that the amount of gold, dust, cards, and packs you have now and had before the start of the dual-arena event, then you should contact customer support and ask them to look into your account.
NOTE: This is the second time I've posted this. I don't know what happened to my post from last night. As far as I know, there is nothing in this post against the rules. I did have a quote from a GM in the old post where they told me to post here because the people here can view our collection and the Support people can not. Perhaps that was against the rules. I have removed it.

I am posting this becuase I did not receive my Boomsday pack or gold when this year's All Hallows Eve event started and my current Arena run was terminated at 2-2.

I did receive my extra Arena ticket.

I opened a Support ticket and was told to post here instead.

Now, lets start with the obvious. I already know to check My Collection as the cards are automatically added there. They were not.

How do I know?

I keep a spreadsheet of every pack opened, its source, and my daily gold balance.

It seems as though no one beleives you when you say the game didn't give you what you should have gotten, unless you have extraordinary evidence. Well, here is that evidence.

All images were taken 10-18-18 from 8:55PM - 9:15PM.

Now for some information about the Packs Opened sheet:

L - Legendary
E - Epic
R - Rare
C - Common
GL - Golden Legendary
GE - Golden Epic
GR - Golden Rare
GC - Golden Common
TD - Dust Value of Pack
MD - Dust Value to Me

Colors:
Blue Line - A free pack given by Blizzard
Purple Line - A Tavern Brawl pack
White Line - Pack bought with Gold

The first three free packs are from the launch of BDP. The second set of three free packs are from the launch of the Puzzle Lab.

The Tavern Brawl pack is from the Brawlsieum event.

Now, for those still following along, if you add up all the rares and commons under BDP in the spreadsheet you should come up with:

26 Commons
09 Rares
35 Total

Notice the numbers don't match the count of cards in my collection, well go back and look again. You'll notice I have an extra common (a golden one). That is from a season end reward. I only rank to 20 each month.

The other is the free Legendary they gave away at the luanch of BDP.

So, all cards in my collection are accounted for. Had I received my pack from the All Hallows Eve terminating my Area run, I would have more BDP cards in my collection than I do.

Onto the Gold Earned spreadsheet. You can see that I track how much each quest I complete is worth (Q1, Q2, and Q3). I also track how much gold I get each day from Wins (column C).

You'll notice that my spreadsheet values exactly match what Hearthstone says I have earned in gold. Had the 40 gold from the terminated Arena run been added to my balance, then the game should say I have more gold than my spreadsheet.

I don't know how much more evidnece one can provide to show that a bug exists and that some people aren't getting the packs from their terminated Arena runs.

I fully expect someone from Blizzard should be able to confirm all these numbers and give me the pack and gold I was supposed to receive.

I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but...
Contrary to what you were told by support, they are the only people with access to account data.

Most people on this forum are players, like you, who hang around here for various reasons (in my case to learn about unexpected interactions and to help other players along the way since I'm here anyway).
Very occasionally you will see a blue post from a Blizzard employee; as far as I know (and this has been mentioned by them in the past though those posts are now gone) they work for QA (quality assurance, what used to be called the test department) or they might be developers. Neither QA staff nor developers should have access to "real" production data; they should work on an isolated set of test servers with fake accounts.

Customer support are the people specifically assigned for helping "real" customers with their issues. They have tools to access their account data - and if they do not have those tools then they should escalate internally to GET the tools they need to do their job.
I do not know why the GM who responded to you told you to post here. Perhaps he/she is misinformed and honestly believes that this forum is swamped with people who might help you. Or perhaps he/she lacks the tools to help you and thinks that sending lots of people here will fix that. Or perhaps there are yet other reasons that I'll let you speculate about for yourself.

I have been suspended before for telling customers that customer support is misinforming them. Apparently that was considered harassment of Blizzard employees. I have chosen my words very carefully so as not to attack any person, but only to attack the incorrect message that you were given. I hope that suffices to avoid another suspension, but if not - well, so be it; I simply cannot sit still and accept that paying customers are not given the support they deserve so I will call out bad advice when I see it given.

I have seen, in the past, messages from Blizzard to the extent that individual account issues cannot be solved through this forum. I have not seen any official messages that this policy changed, nor have I ever seen anyone be helped succesfully on an individual account issue after posting here.
My advice to you is to reopen the ticket. I hope you'll get better assistance this time.
So, I pressed this issue once again with Support. I posted my post from above documenting my collection and proof that a bug does exist somewhere. I also inquired as to what they could do even if someone can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that a bug occurred.

This time I got a response from a 'Specialist Game Master'. Here is what they said:

I just got your contact and I’m sorry to hear about any issues with a missing card pack and gold reward from an Arena run that was terminated early. Sadly, Gm’s do not have a way to verify on this end anything about your arena, what would have been, should have been, or was granted as rewards. Please understand we do believe you, we just unable to verify this and therefor cannot help.

They then went on to suggest that I post on social media requesting the developers give them better tools to investigate issues like this. I don't do social media, so that won't be happening.

So, what this all boils down to is, unless the QA team can actually duplicate the issue and determine who all was affected by the bug (and what they should have received), there is nothing Support can do to rectify the situation even if you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that you didn't get what you should have.

It is hard to fathom that you can provide as much information as I did and not a soul can do anything about it. Let alone acknowledge that yes, there clearly was a bug in this case and they are looking into it.

The customer support people should raise their voices internally, instead of not only telling customers that they lack proper tools but then even encouraging the customers to share this damaging information with as many people as possible.

While Deckard's post makes someone sad, I do feel they do have a reason to air a complaint in this situation. I do have to say the responses from the representative do seem rather strange in nature--information like that should stay internal, but then, they are human and may have made a mistake. Either way, this is valuable feedback for the R&D department.

What I find odd is, when I logged into HearthStone just a little while ago I had an unopened pack that I don't remember getting last night. I don't think I was THAT drunk.

I have had this exact problem for 3 packs... It shows you recieve a pack but nothing shows up in “Open Packs.” This is the case after logging in after a break of a few weeks.

Will we get these packs or just accept never getting to open them?
Just got my experience with this shortage of rewards from arena, I got my pack but didn't get my gold, I know for a fact that my gold didn't change because I had 70 gold (60 from completing a daily quest and 10 from winning 3 games in a row) and with the arena gold of 30 I would've had 100 but I'm still on 70. I know its only 30 gold and I don't really care for it all that much but I just hope this can get fixed so that when that time comes of a 150 gold reward I can actually receive it. Thanks

If it was a BDP pack, that is more than likely your Choose Your Champion pack. They were handed out a couple of days ago.

Note: I've left my current Hallows End Arena run unfinished at 1-2. We'll see whether or not I end up with the cards this time. I do have two unopened BDP packs in my inventory right now. One is from the Choose Your Champion event and the other is from my first Hallows End free arena ticket.

I'm holding off on opening either of those packs until I see if I get the cards added to my collection from the termination of my second free arena ticket run.
So, here is what happened to my account when Hallows End terminated today.

As a refresher, I had a 1-2 run in progress when it terminated. I also had two BDP packs in my inventory; one from choose your champion and one from the free Hallows End Arena ticket.

I have not clicked on the Arena button in the GUI yet.
So obviously, I have not used the key to open my Arena rewards.
I received a free ticket for my terminated run.
I received 30 gold as my gold total doesn't match my spreadsheet gold total from yesterday.
A BDP pack was added to my inventory.
No cards were automatically added to my BDP collection.
I'm still sitting at 37 cards in my BDP collection.
I have restarted the client two more times and I still have 3 BDP packs and no cards added to the collection.

So, clearly the OP is not always correct and there are bugs in the the terminated arena run process.

I have screenshots of this all, once again, if anyone from Blizzard actually cares and wants to investigate.

Edit: Just for clarification, today was the end of the last Season as well. My rewards were a Golden Swap Leech (WW - Common) and 5 dust, so the 30 gold did not come from the end of season reward.

Next time you come online, go to the Arena screen. The only thing you can do is click the key to see(*) your rewards. When you do, I bet that you will have two rewards; one will be a BDP pack and the other will be 30 gold. However, you will not see any gold or packs added to your collection. That's because you already received them, as you yourself detailed above.

(*) I deliberately write "see" your rewards and not "receive" your rewards. It is confusing and the cause of many bug reports, but receiving and seeing rewards are separate. You receive the rewards as soon as a run ends - either by hitting the 3rd loss or the 12th win; or by the end of an event such as the Hallow's End dual-class arena event. You see the rewards when you click the key, which is often a few seconds or minutes later, but can (as in your case) be days later.

Grizzle's post that you quote explains a bug in the arena rewards process that happens rarely. Most of the time you get the pack and can open it whenever you want. Rarely the pack is opened automatically by the system and the cards are added directly to your collection.

Upon re-reading Grizzle's post, I understand how the phrasing can be interpreted as describing the normal and intended behavior. That is not the case though. What you decribed is the intended behaviour. What Grizzle described is a bug. Not a bug that causes people to miss rewards, but one that does make it appear as if you missed a reward.

Sorry for missing the intended context of your post for my first reply.
If anyone hears me, I have a request to the developers, I’m not talking about a player and you know that I noticed interestingly that in the hearthstone the last time is very heavy fights and adventures, for example, I’ve already played the adventures of the witch’s forest 15 or 20 times, and 5 times to the last boss, well, I can't kill him, and for the fact that he has the hero's imbalance, I ask you as a simple hearthstone player to make some sections of the game easier.

PS I may be the first to write like this, well, I no longer have the patience to go through the same thing a hundred times.
@ltgion12: Game balance in solo content is impossible to get right. Make it easier and the more experienced players will complain that there is no challenge. Make it harder and beginning players complain that they cannot finish it.

When the solo content was the only way to unlock cards, Blizzard chose to make the challenge easy enough that everybody should be able to get the cards, as they did not want to make it impossible for players to unlock cards. But now the only reward is a card back, which does not affect gameplay - so the developers decided to set the bar higher. They set the level such that unlocking that card back is actually an achievement to be proud of - and hence an achievement that not everyone will be able to get.

That being said - this forum is for reporting and discussing bugs. Balance issues are not bugs. If you want to discuss this further, I suggest that you start a topic (or add to an existing one) on the Adventure Mode Discussion forum.
During the dual-class, in the middle with several days left, I won a game and it ended my run and took me straight to rewards. No click the key, no click retire, just rewards. I then got another run and picked two new classes.
Recently i was playing an arena and get golden vaporise as reward, but this didn't shown in my collection, i restarted the game but card still was not be getted, even on next day
Please give me my golden vaporise

@Kagan: Please contact customer support. Nobody on this forum has access to account data; the support agents do have that kind of acccess. Only they can verify what exactly happened on your account.
Two arena runs in a row where I didn't get my gold rewards. Opening tickets isn't working due to the "randomness" of the rewards. I'm very dissapointed.
