Void Contract

Play Mode Discussion
Looks like they are doubling down on demonology project......
Void Contract will be mostly useless. By the time you get to 8 mana and have a turn where you can cast the spell without risking dying the combo opponent probably already has their wombo combo ready to go. The only use for it will be Wild because Bloodblom is rotating because spending 2 mana and 8 life is the only way to get it early enough to matter most of the time.
8 mana do nothing in many cases.

blood bloom also exists though
To it works you need draw faster your opponent, control the board, take care your health.

I guess it is going be very pointless or very strong. Anyway it is gonna frustate players while a meme play.
good, more in hand slayers.

To be fair, in Wild you're probably better off using that blood bloom to accelerate the demonic pacts (with violet illusionist or some other wild shenanigan)
well it'll make yogg and deck of wonders more interesting at least
I'm really not seeing how this card is any good. Even ignoring the massive mana cost, you have to play it in a deck that doesn't care about wiping half of it's own deck, or is fine with holding a dead card in hand when your opponent doesn't care about losing half their deck either.

It certainly might be useful against combo decks, but it still relies on that combo deck A. Losing the cards it needs, and B. The combo deck being useless the moment it loses it's win condition.

Even a Mecha-thun deck, which obviously benefits from clearing out it's deck, would struggle to use this since Warlock currently doesn't have any good Tutor cards to draw the combo cards first (and even if we DO see some good Tutor cards that he can use, you'd still probably be better off instead putting in that card that deletes all your cheap cards).
This card will be crushing to combo and otk decks, not sure why you think otherwise.
I am curious if we will know what is being milled.

And will decktracker know? It sometimes knows a bit more than we do.
