Glad I'm not the only old guy here.

RNG is gamer for 'luck.'

Like @Zaphod mentioned, it's a refence to a random number generator, which is exactly what it sounds like: Something that will randomly choose a number within a defined range.

(Although there's some question about whether it really is random.)

Just FYI, whenever I come across an unfamiliar term on the interwebz, I've always found knowyourmeme. com to be helpful.

In hearthstone if your decks dust worth is less than 1500 it stands for the main way you can can WIN against credit cards.
If your decks dust worth is over 5000 it stands for the main way you can LOSE against f2p.
