Sep 26 Medivh Halloween Skin Raven Lord is personally one of my favorite voice acters and characters while playing heroes of the storm and when the halloween event came out yesteday 26-09-2018 i was kind of dissapointed that since the simillarity of medivh and raven lords apearence and choise of weapon that they did not make a skin of raven lord for him? i think it would be an awesome idea as a halloween skin! they both use staff and have head alikes on their cloak/cape and imagen a raven with purple hazey smoke fitting the cursed hollows map flying across the sky like the dude owns the place xDKarma0 Sep 26

Sep 26 Genji Balance Suggestion: Make him a Melee Assassin! With Raynor getting a sick new bayonet stab melee animation, it made me recall all those heroes that have an alternative fire for when things get up close and personal: Greymane slashes with his sword, Lunara stabs with her spear (it'd be great if Nazeebo used that dagger of his) and Genji uses his sword. For comparison, Hanzo also has a really challenging basic fire in Overwatch but HotS compensates that by having a very slow attack rate. Now, originally in Overwatch Genji's primary fire is actually rather hard to aim which is a big difference from HotS where its guaranteed damage. Genji has an infamous 100% ban and pick rate in tournaments which definitely shows a flawed design. He brings a lot of damage without having to make himself vulnerable at all. There have been many suggestions in the past of changing his reflect, his dash through walls and some other stuff but admittedly this would change what is objectively very fun about his kit. Therefore I propose the following. Genji: Reworked to melee assassin. Now his sword animation is his standard attack. Shingan is now baseline. If he hits a target with all three spread out shurikens he deals bonus damage. New key on 1 where he can toggle his Q. Standard he shoots out three skillshots shurikens in quick succession. This removes Genji's absurd safety and guaranteed damage by having to get up close and also now having to aim his basic shurikens. However, it gives him more tools and rewards very aggressive Genjis who like to shotgun blast their spread shurikens.Chupacabrozo0 Sep 26
Sep 26 (CDC#6) Sledge The Mallet Lord This concept is for the CDC #6 Hellscape Lore- Since the Dark Exile of the Prime Evils, the Mallet lords refused to bend the knee to the Lesser Evils. The Mallet Lords instead built their own nations of daemons on the outer reaches of the Burning Hells. Never content ruling a barren waste Sledge always longed for the days of battle with his old lord Mephisto. As soon as word reached him that Mephisto had been found fighting in the Nexus, he immediately set out to aid the Great Evil once more. Role-Warrior- Sledge is a slow high damage warrior who specializes in delayed burst damage and obstructing enemies. Outside of one of his heroics Underheaval he dosent have any movement options out side of his 10% increase speed, so he has to rely on his allies to initiate the fight on most occasions. To compensate for Sledges lack of a mount he can open a rift from the Alter letting him or an ally return to the battle almost immediately. Stats Health-2700 (+4% per level) Basic attack-speed 1 every 1.2 seconds-173 damage Giant Sized Character Rules I at least 1.5 times the size as Chogall. Displacement effects only have half the effect on him. Example Stiches hook only brings him half way to Stitches. Has an additional 3 units of vision but can also be seen by enemy heroes 3 units outside of their vision. Can see over walls and can be seen over walls by enemy heroes. Cannot use bushes and cannot see enemy heroes hiding in them. Imune to certain status effects like Stitches Gorge (it said cant be used on large heroes for like 3 years) Z-mount-Sledge cant mount but moves at 110% movement speed. Trait-Hell Rift-When Sledge Hearths he opens up a Hell Rift in the Alter and ware he previously was. Channeling on the Hell Rift in the Alter will bring them to the Hell Rift ware Sledge Hearthed and closes both Rifts. Any allied hero can use the portal was well as Sledge. This has a 45 second cooldown that starts when a hero uses the hell Rift Q-Pulverize-Sledge forces all his fists onto the back side of his body and slams his fists down in a 3 unit long and 2 units wide rectangle dealing 190(+4% per level). Pulverize can a charged up to 3 seconds each second increasing the amount of damage it deals by 190(+4% per level) Sledge cant move while charging Pulverize. 8 second cooldown. W-Multislam-Sledge lifts his arms above his head and slams his hands in his diagonal directions (4 small circles) dealing 120 damage(+4%per level) and slowing enemies hit by 30% for 2 seconds. 8 second cooldown E-Cave Up-Sledge fires a line of rock walls in a straight line of 8 units stoping at the fisrt enemy it hits and dealing 130(+4% per level) damage. Ware ever the cave up passes it creates 2 unit long rock walls with 300 health (+5% per level) the last 6 seconds and obstruct movement but not vision. 14 second cooldown. R1-Underheaval- Sledge jumps up to 6 units and deals 200 damage to all enemies he lands on and puts them in stasis for up to 2.5 seconds or until he walks off of them. 80 second cooldown. R2-Giants Grasp-Sledge slams his fists together in a 90% cone dealing 200 damage, and pulling all enemies to the middle of it. 40 second cooldown.Pdunz6 Sep 26

Sep 25 (CDC 6)Dac Farren, Hell's Vanguard This is my entry for the 6th Community Design contest, "Hellscape" (link to the contest thread below) https://us.battle.net/forums/en/heroes/topic/20768666797 Dac Farren, Hell's Vanguard In the Diablo 2 expansion, Dac Farren was a named Imp which the players would encounter near the start of Act V. Though he wasn't a quest boss, he was the first 'Super Unique' monster (using Diablo Wiki terminology) in the act, which is why I gave him the title of "Hell's Vanguard", as he's usually the first demon "character" you'd meet when facing the invading armies of hell (You might meet other named monsters earlier, but they'd be randomly generated 'unique' monsters who wouldn't be the same in every playthrough). https://diablo.gamepedia.com/Dac_Farren_(Diablo_II) My concept for him is that of a high risk, high reward mage, who has rather low poke and needs to risk getting in relatively short range of his enemies to maximize his damage potential. Sep 25 Mephisto Hakkar skin in all honesty, I don't recall Mephisto in D2 when you announced him. I had to go back and play it to see him. Regardless, his body shape, style, movements, etc all reminded me of Hakkar. Sep 25 Sombra and a fitting mount I think that Sombra from Overwatch could fit very well into HotS. I would personally like to see her with her cyberspace skins as purchasable items. Sep 25 ZUL'JIN REWORK CONCEPT Hey guys! Here are some ideas to streamline Zul'jin's talents and try to bring him into the meta. They are simple yet meaningful changes. His lack of mobility and the fact that he has to build his power over the course of the game really hurts him to be the hyper carry he's supposed to be. Let me know what you guys think! Trait: Berserker/Amani Rage - Zul'jin passively gains 1% attack speed for every 1% of his max health missing. Toggle D to increase his Basic Attack damage equal to 2% of his max health and consumes 2% of his max health and change Regeneration to Degeneration. This damage ignores Armor. Now has a 5 seconds cooldown Baseline Quest You Want Axe? removed. Basic Attack damage increased accordingly Basic Attack range increased from 5,5 to 6 Q: Grievous Throw - Throw an axe into a line, dealing some damage and marking enemies for 3 seconds. Zul'jin's Basic Attacks deal 50% more damage to marked enemies and grants him 10% movement speed for 2 seconds, up to 20%. Now pierces all target. The increased Basic Attack range and bonus movement speed should make up for the lack of mobility. Skillshot, 8 seconds cooldown, 50 mana cost W: Twin Cleave - Throws 2 axes in a large, circle arc that revoles twice, each dealing 90 damage (down from 116) and slowing by 10% for 2 seconds, stacking up to 30%. 60 mana cost, 14 seconds (up from 10 seconds) E: Regeneration - Zul'jin channels to regenerate 50% (up from 30%) of his maximum Health over 4 seconds. Moving while channeling or taking damage will interrupt this effect. Instant (channeling), 50 mana cost, 25 seconds cooldown E: Degeneration - Activate to cause Zul'jin to instantly lose 50% of his current Health and heal for that amount over 10 seconds. Sep 24 Banshee hero concept Role: support Trait [D] Possession: Possess an allied hero, increasing their health regeneration by 20-45HP/sec + 4% (wib it). And gain alternative set of abilities. Note: You do not control the hero, you are just an Abathur, who doesn't leave his body behind. (Melee range) [Q1] Terror scream - after 0,5-0,75 sec, deal 60 damage to enemies in front of you and fear them for 0,5-1 sec. Area like Jaina's cone of cold, or its upgrade version, or anything in between... just wib it. [Q2] Curse - deal 60 damage to enemies in a cone, reducing the damage they deal by 25% for 2-3 sec [W 1 and 2] Blight Essence - Heal nearby allies for 150-250 HP. [E1] Ghost form - gain 25-75 armor and 20-50% movespeed increase for 1,5-4 sec. You can also pass trough heroes and minions, but you can't use any other abilities, or basic attacks while it's active. [E2] Anti-magic shell - create a shield around the hero you possess, towards the direction you are targeting, that blocks any skillshot. Can block 1-2 skillshots, lasts 2-3 sec. [R1] Restless - (activate it like Genji's Dragonblade) lasts 10 seconds, during which your trait gets 6 range. And you can also your your R again while possessing someone to instantly switch the hero you possess, without having to leave your host. Upon switching targets the cooldown of your basic abilities resets. There but there is 1-2 sec cooldown between uses. Level 20 version: Passively give 10 armor to your host (at all times), and you automatically change your host if your current one dies (while Restless is active). [R2] Ultimate possession - after 1-2,5 sec channeling - possess an enemy hero for 3 sec, allowing you to move him around, and attack his allies (they can attack him too). Level 20 version: you can also use his basic abilities. And some talents: E2: - You now create a 360 deg shield - Your shield can absorb unlimited amount of abilities until it expires - Give your ally 25-30 armor (could be physical, spell or regular) while the shield is active. Sep 24 Fixing Zeratul's Underperforming AA Build! In this 2 Warriors/Crowd Control based meta, melee assasins suffer too much. Valeera, Illidan and Zeratul's current situations are proving this statement. Zeratul is still not playable with its Auto Attack Build. It has no room for High Skills of play. Even W build of him is being dominated by Void Prison/Q Build. In order to solve both underperforming builds: I suggest you to increase the baseline health of Zeratul %15; considering the fact that what makes Q Build dominant was its safe to play mechanism. So, with this health buff change, that safety will not be required too much. Specificly, to solve his underperfming AA build, I recommend Shadow Assault(old heroic) to replace Warp Skirmisher talent at lvl 7. Charge at enemies for 4 seconds and get %10 Shadow Armor* for 2 seconds after activating it. Reduce its cooldown (from 45 to 20 or 25) so there will be less regret if you decide to leave the combat early. 2 secs of 10% Armor is especially necessary because you need to get a little value from your basic attacks. He is a melee assasin. *Shadow Armor is an ability of Zeratul in the Legacy of the Void.Tauri1 Sep 24

She always been in a bad place, and after the stealth change she doesnt really have alot to offer vs other ranged dps heroes. [D] PERMANENT CLOAK added functionality- active to gain ubreakable stealth for 1 sec, 30 sec cd. ghost protocol have need less cd, but with shorter cd (and all the other changes) the decoy has to go. [Q] SNIPE increase damage to 280. quest removed now reduce cd by 2 sec if you hit a hero. the quest was only promoting "afking" and punished players for no reason (if the target dies before Q) [W] FLASH BANG new! throw a grande that explode upon impact, dealing 100 damage in a medium aoe, and reduce targets vision for 1 sec. 12 sec cd, 65 mana. point and click slow didnt braught much and made hitting with snipe too easy, reducing sight will work better with decoy. [E] DECOY no change [1] DOMINATE new!- Hero Takedowns grant 10 stacks of Bribe. Use 20 stacks to bribe a Mercenary, instantly defeating them. Does not work on Bosses. Maximum of 80 stacks. If a camp is defeated entirely with Bribe, the camp respawns 50% faster. she needs a way to have pve in order to be competitive, so instead of having wave-clear she needs to kill in order to get it. [R1]TRIPLE TAP changed! reduce damage to 125 per shot, added functionality- each successful hit on the target increase the damage of the next shot by 125 (up to- 125, 250, 375 damage=total of 750 damage) reduce cd to 40, mana to 70. shorter cd will make it less of a waste heroic when it doesn't work (walls, bb), but the damage has to be reduced in order for it not to be just dps tool. [R2]PRECISION STRIKE no change Tldr Q remove the base quest, now reduce cd for hitting heroes. So initialy i hoped mephisto would have the spawn of sparkfists council member as an Ult, but thankfully he did not. as topic title stated, and if the community agrees, i would be much hiped to see sparkfist in the mid/far future. as a diablo fan, Andariel and Baal is more needed then sparkfists, but im sure they were beged like i beged for mephisto, so i will just bring this idea to the table. Sep 23 [HC] Lyndon, the Scoundrel Lyndon is the Scoundrel from Diablo III, and he is the last of the Diablo III followers I wanted to create. He has some interesting potential for a crossbow user, and I wanted to enhance an “arrow for every opportunity” gameplay while also making him feel like the sneaky rogue he is. On that note, I also made him a Support to fit in line with my other designs, because every follower plays a supporting role, and I wanted it to be reflected in their HotS incarnations. Check my compilation (linked below) for the other followers. Universe: Diablo Role: Support Summon Mount Z (Mount) – 4 Second CD Increases your movement speed by 30% while mounted. Explanation: There is no need for a special mount. Thieves’ Arsenal Trait (2 sec Cooldown) Lyndon can cycle between three different different types of bolts, altering Bolt Shot and enhancing his basic attacks. The three types of bolts he can have are Crippling Bolts, Poison Bolts, and Powered Bolts. Crippling Bolts reduces the enemy’s attack speed by 15% for 3 seconds. Poison Bolts deal additional damage over three seconds. Powered Bolts slow enemies by 20% for 3 seconds. All bolt effects can refresh, but not stack. Explanation: I really wanted to take the various types of attacks Lyndon has and shape it into a unique cycle effect, choosing the correct ammo for the job. I went with bolts to differentiate Lyndon from the multitude of bows that litter the nexus. Bolt Shot Q (8 sec Cooldown) Lyndon fires a bolt in a long target direction after a .35 second delay, which impacts the first enemy hit, dealing medium damage and applying a bonus effect based on Lyndon’s current choice of bolt. Crippling Shot will blind the enemy for 1.5 seconds. Poison Shot will deal additional damage over 4 seconds, reducing the enemy’s armor by 10. Powered Shot will stun the enemy for 1 second. Explanation: Bolt Shot is the main ability of Lyndon, able to apply drastic debuffs to his enemies based on his needs. Proper use of this is important to the success of Lyndon. This is also his main source of damage. Dirty Fighting W (10 sec Cooldown) Lyndon can either choose to fire in a close range cone or a long range projectile, based on how far his targetor. If close range, lyndon splashes sand at all enemies in a cone, dealing light damage and reducing their vision range by 80% for 2 seconds. If long range, Lyndon tosses sand in a line, hitting the first enemy, dealing light damage and reducing their vision range by 80% for 2 seconds. Explanation: An ability that changes its effects based on target distance is something that has never been utilized before in HotS. Combining this with a vision range shred (only on Dehaka’s Isolation), Dirty Fighting is a very unique ability that helps Lyndon with his disruption. Explanation: Lyndon has Vanish, which has self heal component on it. I knew I wanted to convert this to a heal for the support side of Lyndon, and this is what I came up with. Sep 23 Cho'Gall Halloween skin is underwhelming I was so excited when I saw CG would get a pumpkin headed halloween skin, but when it came out, I was so unimpressed. All it was is a pumpkin on each of their heads? Gall can't throw magic pumpkins? It would be nice to get the skins changed a bit in an update in the game for Halloween. Sep 23 Suggestion: Dont change Garden of Terrors I understand that there are some reworks which are needed to game work, on of te best thinks in this game is diversity. in heroes and in battlegrounds, so why you wanna change unique battlegrund in something very similar to Alterac pass or Tomb of the Spider Queen. I love day/night changing on this battlefield, colecting seeds an basily all mechanics of terror which blizzard is going to dissmist. Sep 21 Eternal Empire/Star Princess Skins We all know that the Star Princesses and the Eternal Empires are at war, so why is it only Star Princess/Queen Li Ming fighting the Eternal Empire when they have Star Lord Leroic, Star Lich Kel'thuzad, Dark Queen Alextrazsa, Chlestial Empress Whitemane, and legions of Star Wraith Mephistos? I'm thinking they should add another skin for the Star Princess side. There are plenty of Spray choices you could pick from that I imagine are on that side, Eternity Princess Valeera and Magical Gal Chromie for example. I'm thinking Uther, Rexxar, or Matheal could get one, Uther being a knight and Rezzar being like a pathfinder with a mechanical bear as an ally, and Matheal (being a bad guy turned into a good one for this universe, the opposite of Alextrazsa) being like a Star Wraith, but reprogrammed into fighting for the Star Princesses. Heck maybe they could bring in Torb to be the person who reprograms it and he gets his own skin. Sep 20 The Nexus need Arcade mode and why you should care At 2015 Blizzcon, Blizzard presented the Arena (PH): a fast paced gameplay made to break HoTS rules and be even quicker than the standard mode. As development went on, this mode turned into our well known Heroes Brawl, keeping most of its original design and further adding new rules and different gameplay. We saw funny mini games like Pull-Party and engaging PvE maps like Escape from Braxis. Roughly 2 years later, this mode has its own share of popularity and a fair number of different modes. I think its time for an evolution from its current design as we are going to behold major modifications to the role system. Presenting the Arcade Mode If you are not familiar to the Overwatch game, the Arcade allows players to choose from a rotating selection of game modes, maps, and rulesets that don't quite fit into Standard Play. Putting this into a HoTS perperpective, we would have a daily rotation of ARAM games, PvE brawls, fun modes (e.g. Pull Party) and other creative maps to choose. Thus, if you love PvE or like to play one lane modes, all you had to do is queue for that particular mode. Improving the reward system One cool example of why this mode can improve gameplay regards to the reward system. Instead of playing a particular mode to get your reward, you can queue to the mode you like most and play it until you fulfill the set amount of "Rewards Points" to earn your chest or some additional itens. For example: PvE modes could have a weekly Ladder or Objective to unlock cool Portraits, Skins, Banners and even main screen themes. Pull Party could give you a particular Portrait by achieving something. Particular Quests could be taylor made to a certain game mode. Improving the feedback system As another example of enhacements, developers can make specific questions pin pointing particular rules of every map: do you like forcing 5 players playing the same hero? Not having healers in ARAM is okay? Should ARAM/PvE force players to choose their roles before starting? Testing Hero/Map reworks and concepts Imagine that Garden of Terror is going through a rework and the devs want some feedback regarding some drastic modifications to its gameplay. Why not put it in the test mode? Players try the map, gets their rewards or even get a particular reward, answer some questions (Do you like this feature? And this change? Is this new flamethrower cool?) and thus gives some feedback pointing towards decisions that would please the majority of the playerbase. As another example, lets put another Uther rework into a particular ARAM mode. Is this new design too strong? What talents did you like? Does he still feels like your familiar Hero? Rate his power in these particular characteristics. Such feedback should be taken with discretion as it have its fair share of bias. So, what are your thoughts about this? Would you like it? Sep 20 Kings Crest Nexus Original So i'm asking for some input or ideas on what people would envision a solider/knight from the Kings Crest realm, so far im thinking to title him as a Knight of the Rose meaning he works for the Lady of Thorns (realm lord) but beforehand he worked for Queen Nightshade (another powerful member of that realm possibly a lord level too) so this way he has elements of rose plants and the dragon knight im thinking as a hero like a heroic that is basically the dragon knights charge. One short-lived Photon Cannon hardly feels like an ability, maybe have the level 7 cooldown reduction talent also add a charge for the ability. Second: As a Starcraft fan this one is more important to me. please update the art so that the pylon and photon cannon match the tint of Probius because it really looks wrong to see a Tal'darim Probe warp in a Khalai Pylon. Sep 19 TLV REWORK PLEASE Ever since HOTS buffed its Keep/Fort/Towers and added unlimited ammo, TLV usage has been in gross decline. They are almost tied with Probius on Hots Logs in dead last in terms of popularity due to their inability to affect the map. I don't have a reddit account, so I was hoping someone with one could ask a couple questions for me (if you're already planing to participate, or something). My questions are about this forum, kinda: 1. According to this, Blizz doesn't take suggesstions for games or expansions:... A previous version of that site (which I looked at that one time I wanted to pitch them a game) used to word it more like they're not even allowed to look at unsolicited suggestions (because of Activision-Blizzard company-wide policy). So my question is: are they even allowed to look at the hero concepts we post on this forum? (or is it just to keep us entertained? :P) 1.5 If they are allowed, have there been any times they saw something cool for a hero design and used it? (even if not on the hero it was suggested for) 2. Are the hero designers aware of the Comunity Design Contest that user Bliztron hosts here every couple months? 2.5 If so, do they have an opinion? (are the concepts generally OK? are they kinda "superficially" designed? What about the judges? is the feedback genearlly good? are they too harsh or too lenient?)
