The most recent patch notes have indicated to be more concise on the reward.

INSTEAD of a common chest you are given every time you level up your profile, you are given a rare chest. You're still only given ONE chest per profile level. Exception being when you level up a Hero to a factor of 10, in which case in addition to your appropriately rewarded chest for your profile level, you are given another chest that is not common, rare, or epic, instead a chest with that Hero's name on it.

Might help to mention what profile level you've reached to earn this chest.

Hero level 15 does not give you an additional loot chest. Because no Hero at Hero level 15 rewards you with a loot chest, only 500 gold and the first master taunt.

"Invulnerable" prevents the target from being targetable--even by allies.

I guess you missed the memo where the new hero is almost always OP hence why balance patches are a thing....

It's still a clamping skill shot if the target is and remains in the cast radius, much the same as All Shall Burn and Drain Life, minus the "skill shot" on the latter two.

OR, you could care to realize that DoT and Channels are not in the same categories. As DoTs do not require a channel.

You earn 1 chest per player level. even if a hero levels up, which causes your player level to increase, you will only get 1 chest.**EXCEPT when you level a hero by a factor of 10. As in HERO LEVEL 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc. When you reach this milestone, as stated clear as day in your progression tab, you will be given two chests: one for leveling up as a player, and one (that is not a common, rare, or epic chest) with the Hero's name on it.
