New Balance Update -- January 27, 2016

General Discussion
Good, just go to play CoD if you want 720° no scope and stuff. I dont care if they kill a character which isnt really fitting for Moba

in order to make adjustments to several Warriors, a couple of Assassins, and maybe even a Specialist.

Specialist... well Gazlowe seems to have a slight nerf in the ptr, and there's been talk about a redesign for a while, but I won't get my hopes up.

I understood that Gaz is actually getting an overall buff. The only thing that is a nerf is the fact he'll be dismounted when salvaging.

When I posted the dismount salvage was the only thing listed. I see the rest now.
No ,we are not having a great time checking out the nova nerfs and zeratul buffs
How to turn Nova into al sweet old aunt in few steps.. well done

Please check on novas numbers too, they made tyraels kamikaze 10 times stronger than intended before, and now nova overnerfed to an extent than she would be useful if her clone would be perma and mimics her skillshots for half damage.

full GP stacks
2 clones at half damage each
mimicking her Q shot location

<sarcasm>Seems balanced fam. </sarcasm>

nova no longer has GP so your entire rant is null and void, go l2read before responding and wasting bandwidth you utter waste of space.

Lamb to the Slaughter (R)

Invulnerability and Unstoppable now suppress the chain effect, rather than remove it

What?

you still get chained, but while under the effects of invulnerable/unstopabble you can move freely, however if that effect ends before lamb to the slaughter chaining effect does, you will be chained in place until LTTS ends also.

So chains will spawn under you when the invuln is over? Or do you teleport back to the hitch?
Where are the balance notes?
Hey Spyrian,

These changes, are those just some from the major patch already shown?

Or are they some new ones?

I'm really exited to know.
So what does this patch change exactly? This post is not clear enough.

Please for the love of Christ give Illidan ACTUAL buffs, not this troll 4 damage increase.

Whenever you see an increase in damage, it isn't a flat damage increase throughout the match, like 4 for example.

Since it increases by a percent each level there is a math equation to figure out how much the change actually does. It is p(0)*e^(%t)
In other words, p(0) = base value
* = times
e = the irrational constant (you can find it on any calculator)
^ = raised to the power
() = make sure you put parenthesis around the next two values
% = percent increase in each level
t = interval

So take illidan change for example.
Previously, for level 20 it was 74*e^(.04*19) = 158 per swing
Now it is 78*e^(.04*19) = 167
There are 19 intervals because you gain 19 levels when going from level 1 to 20.

There, now you can calculate the changes whenever you see some number coefficient change.
Can we get haunted mines back?

I agree, and I'd like to add that Ilidan in particular has access to a lot of % modifiers for his AA damage, every time you W your AA damage is increased 35% during 4 seconds (upgradeable to 50% by talents and easy to maintain 100% uptime while fighting).

He also has access to Follow Through (40% extra AA damage after using an ability) and Nexus Blades (20% increased AA damage) plus a talent that makes your next AA deal 100% increased damage after using Dive (Marked For Death at level 4).

Considering all this and that Ilidan's trait heals him by a % of the AA damage dealt, I'd say a small damage increase on his AA could be much more impactfull than it looks at first sight.

What's the point of the PTR? Just scrap it, it serves no purpose according to the way you're using it.

Basically to test new stuff (heroes, maps, etc.) and deep changes like they did to Nova for instance.

Cheers!
and what are those balance? i mean , do we have something about artanis or arthas or these new balance that will be released today are part of the pbe version?
Noice
I just wanted to say how wonderful it is that you guys have finally started doing small and more frequent balance patches. I hope this will be close to the normal way things get changed now. Keep up the great work!
You change so many Heroes and Sylvanas doesn't get anything but a nerf again? Her W doesn't make Structures Vulnerable after Level 16 now.

I'm so disappointed :-( She got so many nerfs in the past, 0 buffs and still has an insane amount of useless talents.
