Hero Design & Hero Performance do not pair together when trying to identify and improve their thematic. Referring to statistics of a hero's kit that does not exemplify player-skill does not justify the use of hero performance in an argument: the hero design may be the problem prompting rework.

- It is design that decides whether a Hero will succeed and be tolerable or not.

- It is performance that decides whether a Hero will be consistently replayable and fair or not.
I don't feel like we need more assassins right now.

Lunara, Greymane, Li-Ming are enough recent additions. We've since had a specialist, we could really do with a support and another warrior to rival the Diablo/Johanna/Muradin/ETC 'norm'.

I agree. I would rather have seen a new exciting support or a real tank-type warrior instead of these 'Ooh I'm a warrior that deals damage but can't keep up with my targets *splat*" or "Look my pet is the real hero, lolz!".

I know Blizzard have to be really creative to avoid new heroes feeling like old ones with a different skin, but damn, a few of these newer heroes are so niche they are never played.

I do hope they give Kharazim some love though; his non-heal builds are completely useless.
well that for sure will be interesting, I wonder what changes you plan on Valla witch is consider most balanced hero.

Li Ming is already balanced, please don't make the same mistake you did with Kael'thas and over nerf her just because of whiny people.

Her structure damage, especially early game is far too high. Expect the changes to address that.

I don't know about Rexxar, but Artanis is not niche. It may not be your cup of tea or your ideal warrior, but he is unique and he is played pretty much this days.
If you want a true tank, look at Johanna. Why would you want a similar warrior with her? What would be the point in that?
The point of diversity is to have multiple playing choices, not multiple skin choices for the same type of play.
Just saying.

The thing with Artanis is not his shield not being able to activate on demand. But rather, his play style that require him to stay on target to be a effective tank. However, he lack the tool to do so until he reach lvl16. That's the problem.

Just because both him and Johanna do they tanking business with their shield doesn't mean that they are similar.

Simply put, Artanis is not a tank. He is a tanky damage dealer, and because he has more life than assassins in general, he was categorized as a warrior. But that classification doesn't make him a tank.

I agree that he would be nice with more mobility, but he is decent right know. I'm very anxious to see what changes are in store for him.
Are you guys working on Kerrigan? She has fallen so far behind.

Simply put, Artanis IS a tank. His damage is nothing spectacular, compared to other warriors, but with shield talents is the tankiest Warrior in the game, with a 100% uptime on a huge shield and 50% ability damage reduction.

His purpose is to be the first in and last out of a team fight. Obviously this is countered by CC, as they disable the activation of his shield, but with more and more cc being nerfed, Artanis is a pretty strong tank.
So... nothing about Kael'thas, huh? RIP 10k gold.
I'd love to see Chen buffed at some point soon. I love his play style, but he gets locked down far too quickly. What other heroes can have their TRAIT shut out by a simple knock back or stun?

That wasn't an argument, just an observation, I save my arguments for people who demonstrate some intelligence, logic, and don't say things like "Keep crying, noobs".

If you want to have an actual discussion with facts and logic, I'm open to it. If you just want to call people noobs and fails, then knock yourself out but I'm not going to take you seriously.

Excuses. :)

Except it's not.
You not being able to conter her is your faul, not Li's.

not really, there are a few heroes i can think of that can fairly easily rival it, and beat it, just rarely do they do so because of the range limitation that li ming doesn't have too much.
Imagine what HotS would look like if the community had as much motivation to play The Lost Vikings, Rexxar, or Tychus as they do to play Nova. Maybe we'd see comments with a bit more thought and not so much "you broke the only character in the game" thing I can't seem to avoid.

It is high, i cant name another hero who can break a tower in the first 2 mins WITH an enemy actually in the lane fighting her.
