How am I supposed to get out of bronze when people can't play?

I played a single match with people in gold/silver in team league and did great.

The problem with hero league is that people in this are constantly overextending, are constantly dying to stupid crap, and then there's the greymane which think's he's sonya.

Nobody's ever in position, and it's always whoever cheeses the game with a specialist wins.
Learn to play better than them. There are 5 players on the enemy team that can throw a game. There are 4 Players and you on your team. Statistically, if you're truly better than bronze, you should be winning more than losing.

You have to play different. You can't play like everyone has a high skill levels and knows what they are doing.

You have to be the lord of the Potatoes. You enemies are Potatoes and your teammates are Potatoes.

You have to play heroes that can gank and punish players with 0 map awareness and pick off high priority targets so you can swing games in your favor.

You should be thinking, Who is currently making the biggest mistake on the map and how can I take advantage of that
How did you get in to Bronze if you CAN play?

If your skill level is actually several leagues above everyone else in the game, you should be able to have a dramatic personal effect on the game, especially if you take a leadership role.

There's an enormous grey area between the 1v5 farmed DotA hard carry, and the zero personal impact myth attributed to HotS by Bronze-leaguers who want very badly to believe it's everyone else's fault.
To be fair, I made a smurf and there is some next-level stupid players in Bronze. Even with 100k hero damage and 25k exp, if you have >2 plums on your team and the enemy has none, even I can't win the game.

That said, you have 10 matches to decide your rank, you expect anyone to believe that you got plums in all of them. If you're good your personal skill can have a huge impact on any game and decide matches even with team mates dying to minions.

Guide to getting out of Bronze if you deserve it:

1. Pick Raynor/Kael no matter what.
2. Win game
Your options are the following:
1, Start flame and rage at them.
2, Pray
3, Buy elo boost
You're not supposed to get out. Each league needs players. Everyone can't simply level out quickly. Every time you lose you need 2 wins to get back to where you were.

The trick is to duo q with a competent player.
When the fail feeders and chasers on your team ask for help. IGNORE THEM they gonna die like they do all the time. Do whatever you have to do to save XX and push if you can. Watch map always... count the enemy. As SOON as one is missing head on home.. and quickly.

In that case, dont log into the game and play anymore. Show the THE MAN who the real boss is and vote with your pocketbook.

I'm serious, if this game is as !@#$ed up as we all think it is... don't buy anything anymore.. and even stop playing for a long time. Consider not ever coming back either. Thats the only thing that will get anyone's attention. By the way this strategy works for every social ill that faces our countries today. DONT BUY ANYTHING. DON'T FROM THE VERY COMPANIES WHOSE PRACTICE AND POLICIES YOU DISLIKE.

There's your answer right there...

If specialist cheese wins games, get your cheddar on.

Edit.- youcan always go back to 'standard', whatever that is for you, after you climb out of your personal hell.

No.

You are talking about probability, not statistics. One indicates likelihood. The other indicates tangible results.

So, statistically speaking, if you are in Bronze, it is very likely that you will get a person on your team that is: bad, throws game, or simply trolls.

Every game I've lost in HL this season can be traced to one of my teammates being a complete and utter failure.

Absolutely this.

It definitely requires a different mode of thought from doing the right things to how can I do the wrong thing and punish people for being stupid.
find a duo queue partner to carry games with

I really encourage all MMR Hell deniers to do this.

You'll climb, but it will be so frustrating and slow that it will make you toxic.
Your enemies, not only your teammates, can't play. You're in bronze because you also can't play.
But some people would liek to move up the ladder not be stuck in Bronze. One person can not carry four people. It is not possible.
