End game Voting

General Discussion
I think votes should be required. The Exit should appear after all players have cast a vote imo.
Dunno.

But one thing is for sure - the current design is complete non sense. Everbody just leaves instantly now. Not even because the MVP screen is bad. Just because being faster in a new game is more valid than the MVP screen.
Kids grow up. No one is interested how many merc camps you captured or how much siege damage you did. Most ppl don't even read your ingame names. 2 matches later ppl just remember if they lost or won. Your 5 seconds of fame showing up on sone weird end score screen doesn't matter. It's just epeen stroking, nothing else.

Ok, you don't like MVP screen, but don't steal it from people who do. Since they added the quit button, nobody's voting anymore, making the whole screen pointless.
Maybe if they redesign the whole thing so it makes sense.
As things are now, I'm glad I can simply quit asap.
I don't really care. Getting MVP I think is good enough in my opinion. Getting the Epic sound byte is pretty cool but nothing too great.

I guess if it really needs worked on there could be a way to re-queue from within the MVP screen or give some type of reward for voting. I don't see the need to make people sit through it though.
I don't think there is also any point to simply force players to vote either. If the players got rewards of some kind, be it in-game gold or extra exp., then I would understand and even accept it, vote and then leave if I wanted.

However some of the highlights, or whatever you call them, like "Most Mercenaries Captured" gotta go if you ask me. They're pointless. Especially if you didn't solo them and just 'captured' them after your teammates, or enemies, already did all the work for you.
Just relax, I love it like it is now, I only stay to vote when I get MVP, otherwise I just skip it instantly.
whoever decided to take the timer off never played a low pop game before. you really don't have an option to vote or chat some times of the day or you will be left behind because the instant quitters will hit the next game first.
If some dumb random algorithm didn't decide who I was allowed to vote for I would take voting for people more seriously at the end of the game.

Let people vote for any of the ten people in the game and I'll vote every time. Most of the time it is some derpy tank who took a lot of damage but did nothing to win a team fight or someone who just happened to be the one who got credit for the camps we capped as a team.
I think we should have a option in settings to not load up mvp screen at all.
I think the MVP thing should just be removed entirely, and we should be issued an apology for the opportunity cost of its development.

I thought it might mean something, when it was first talked about, but it doesn't... Bulwark, Main Healer, Headhunter... these things mean nothing. And MVP just means highest KvD ratio, which we can already see without the elaborate waste of time.
If you want the voting to be required, then I should be able to vote for any player, not just the one the system think I should vote for.
The exit button is for those who do not want anything to do with the "MVP" screens. I personally love the exit option. I never voted to begin with, because the whole thing was ugly, pointless, dumb and detrimental to the game over all.

When they start having things like this, and especially if they give actual rewards, people will play solely to get an "MVP" spot instead of to win the game or help the team.

It is fine as it is, and the only thing that could make it better is total removal.

Newsflash: it was pointless before the exit button, and people only voted because they were forced to look at it. I did not vote, except to push someone into 4 vote, because I did not care (as most people don't) about the whole thing.

I think the sounds are horrid overall, and even when I got 8 votes (legendary I think) on Murky I still did not feel anything but hatred for the "MVP" screens.

However, your idea of being able to queue from within the "MVP" screens would be an okay substitute for the exit button. But I still would not care, and I would probably even just vote left to right each game, because the whole thing is pointless. So I prefer not to have it force fed to me.
Thing is last night I had a prime example of why the MVP screen is fail had a braxis where I held off a 2v1 in top against an enemy specialist and healer as guldan and over the course of the game even my team mates thought I should be mvp, yet it goes to the diablo who led to a 3 for nothing by mercing instead of doing his tank duty.

To add insult to injury I wasn't even on the screen since having to play defensively most of early game my hero damage wasn't that impressive.

Given the flaws of the system I should not be forced to vote for somebody even if I don't believe they were the play makers of the match or when the enemy's true MVP was the dumbass on our team.
The MVP system is nonsense and completely meaningless. I leave instantly because I simply don't care. I'd rather they just remove it entirely.

It's always been pointless.
I don't understand why they implemented the MVP screen (which I was excited for and loved the first implementation even if it was a little wacky). I wanted to see improvements to the system...not to almost completely take it away.

Now I am annoyed that the MVP even shows up after a battle. It's a waste of time to press the Exit button. It should just be removed at this point, because what's the point of it if no one looks at it?

Granted, I do mostly play coop mode so literally every single person skips it... makes me sad because I really liked to see everyone's "achievements" (deserved or not) and I liked to vote for the best player in the game (yes, you can still pull off cool moves vs bots).

Now you just see the MVP and it's annoying because the MVP system is not very good at determining who that is...and so people could vote to say who was really the MVP...but since no one sticks around for that...

What's the point of making me see the system at all?

I wanted them to make you see it, but shorten the time a bit. People apparently can't "waste" 10 seconds of their life so they go to the forums and ruin it for those that did like the system.

I don't know, I suppose I'm just a bit frustrated.
