The next hero after Lucio must be another support!

General Discussion
Good job by adding another OW support, but we still need some more, since right now the meta pick is Malf and then Rehgar/Brightwing. Kinda boring indeed.

We need Vol'Jin (the shadow priest) asap or at least KT (the real KT).

With more support diversity, the game will open to more team comps and the dual support might become a real thing at last!
I say rework Tassadar again lol.

Definitely need more supports this year. They're about 2 heroes off from being proportionate to their respective role, (1 was supposed to be Medivh).

I don't really think you need them back to back though. Another 2 heroes before we see one will be fine.
Vol'Jin does not fit healer at all... he is a Shadow Hunter... something that is like combo between hunter and shaman... and he is more at hunter path anyway. If they will make him in this game... most fitting role would be specialist that is focused at weakening enemies.

Better choice for support is Sen'Jin... Vol'Jin father... since he is Witch Doctor (~Priest).
The only acceptable support are Mercy, Kel'thuzad, Stukov or Starcraft air craft that heals.

Vol'jin? He doesn't dare to enter the Nexus with Zul'jin around.
Mercy is not acceptable :P

Vol'jin is actually pretty weak, he is unable to fight.

In WC3 he is a coward, constantly fleeing from Murlocs and Humans. Letting Thrall, Rexxar and Rokhan do all the hard work.

In WoW he is a coward that never dared to confront the Alliance, always following Thrall's butt, In the end didn't only pathetically died in Legion like a loser, but he also betrayed the Horde and the Amani, Zandalari, Gurubashi, Drakkari Trolls.

What a disgrace was Vol'jin.
I don't know if it'll be next, but they did say there would be multiple this year. So it's not like he's going to be the only one.

Not sure if I'd rather have them all at once, or spaced out with more time to try each.

That's been "a real thing" already.

People should stop trying to shoehorn characters into the support role just to have a support even when it's a totally inappropriate role for said character. There are plenty of characters for which support is appropriate without trying to stick the label on a character more fit for another role.
Poor Vol'Jin had all his abilities jacked by other heroes lol.

Healing Wave - Rehgar
Hex - Bright Wing
Serpent Ward - Gazlowe
Big Bad Voodoo - Tyreal (well sort of reworked)

But I'm sure you could still find novel ways to bring him into the game.
I hope it's stukov as a specialist because there has been a hint towards it.

So? What is the problem? Even if other characters have similar abilities, no one has this current mix of abilities in one.

People need to understand that as the number of heroes approaches 100 and will surpass it, some abilities will overlap/shared with others. There is only so much you can do with an ability, after all.

As long as the specific combination of a kit is unique, it is all that matters.

There isn't, as specified by my last sentence. They could still put him in the game in different ways that isn't a carbon copy of his WC3 tool kit.
Vol'jin's character did evolve a bit from WC3 to Legion too. I'm not sure you will be able to look at the WC3 shadow hunter as the blueprint for him at this point.
They could make Hex work like..

-Vol'jin Hexes Sylvanas
-Sylvanas turns into a frog and wanders aimlessly for 1 second

Polymorph lets the target still move where they want during it.

Either that or make the frog sit there stunned for the duration.
Vol'jin abilities have as much in common with his WC3 version as Grom Hellscream (that used Blademaster). His WoW version is more like cunning, stealthy warrior skilled both with melee and ranged weapons... he is boosting his attacks with wicked voodoo but he is not a chain heal & polymorph hero. You can take any other troll from WC3 name list and it will fit them more... just like Samuro as Blademaster.
I want Symmetra as the next support
How about we work on buffing the other healers like Uther or Li Li so we have more choice during draft rather than flooding the game with new supports that might be viable, useless or first-ban OP.

KT as support?
Okay, we should make Grommash support aswell.
Jokes aside.....
Kt only had frost armor in WC, but he was more of a damage dealer with His frost Nova, and Death and Decay was a good AOE damage ulty.
I don't see him as a support, he fits specialist role and assassin role more than Support.
Kel'thuzad was a support in WC3... Not only that but you can't really make him a burst damage ice mage without stepping on Jaina's toes (who also was a support in WC3..). I guess you could make him a specialist, but support seems more fitting, as thats what he was. A team buffing CC heavy support with a nice burst damage, used to back up the deathknights even higher burst damage. I'm not sure how he could work as a specialist.

Also Death and Decay sucked in WC3, its was one of the worst ults in the game.
uhh hmm.

Vol'jin, Sentry, Science vessel, Ysera, Mephisto Lord of Hated, and maybe Belial lord of Lies.
