Hey Blizz! Catch this Illidan rework!

Hero and Skin Suggestions
Stats
Basic Attack damage increased from 78 (+4% per level) to 87 (+3% per level).
Base Maximum Health increased from 1650 (+4% per level) to 1733 (+3,75% per level).
Health Regeneration increased from 3,44 (+4% per level) to 3,6104 (+3,75% per level).
Maximum Health at level 20 didn’t changed.

Abilities
Dive (Q)
Range increased from 5.5 to 6.0 meters.
Damage increased from 66 (+4% per level) to 69 (+3% per level).
New functionality:
Dive deals double damage if you hit the same target twice in 9 seconds.
Now, a Mark will show the last enemy hit within 9 seconds, in order to help the player (exactly like Rite of Rak’Shir for Alarak).
Dive damage has been reduced from 145 to 125 at level 20 (or 250 if you hit twice the same target)

Sweeping Strike (W)
Damage increased from 119 (+4% per level) to 125 (+3% per level).
Basic Attack bonus damage reduced from 35% to 20%.
Basic Attack damage at level 1 is the same with Sweeping Strike bonus as now.
Sweeping Strike damage has been reduced from 261 to 225 at level 20.


Evasion (E)
Now, can also be casted during Dive and Sweeping Strike animation. (As Artanis can use Phase Prism during Blade Dash). Most important change.
Now, a circle similar to Sweeping Strike circle will show the duration of Evasion at the right of hero’s portrait.
The amount of damage will be shown at the end of Evasion.

Metamorphosis (R1)
Can now be self-cast.
Damage reduced from 46 (+4% per level) to 37 (+4% per level).
Bonus HP per each hero hit changed from 200 (+4% per level) to 12% of your current maximum health.
This change on Metamorphosis isn’t a up, it gives the same amount of HP. (Except if you used the new talent level 13).
New functionalities:
Metamorphosis deals 37 (+4% per level) damage for each enemy Hero hit up to 185 (+4% per level) instead of 46 (+4% per level) damage for all enemy.
Metamorphosis removes damage over time.
As long as Metamorphosis is activated, increases your Attack Speed by 10%.
Now, you can press R once again to cancel Metamorphosis earlier.

The Hunt (R2)
Now, has unlimited range.
Cooldown increased from 100 seconds to 120 seconds.
Damage reduced from 251 (+4% per level) to 167 (+4% per level).
New functionality:
If no other Heroes are within 9 range of the victim, increases the damage by 50% and reduces its cooldown by 20 seconds.
Damage and cooldown aren’t changed if you hit an isolated Hero.

Betrayer’s Thirst (Trait)
Physical Damage heal for 30% of damage dealt and Basic Attacks reduce Ability Cooldowns by 1 second.

“10.000 years of hatred” Baseline Quest added
!Quest: Minion kills grant 0,1 Basic Attack Damage.
!Quest: Mercenary kills (except Boss) grant 0,25 Basic Attack Damage (neutral or enemy).
!Quest: Hero Takedowns and Mercenary Boss grant 0,5 Basic Attack Damage.
!Reward: Each time you gain 3 Basic Attack Damage bonus, increases the duration of Sweeping Strike’s bonus damage by 0,2 second up to 1 second.
!Reward: After gaining 30 increased Basic Attack Damage, grants a second charge of Sweeping Strike.
This quest has no limit.
You need 35 Basic Attack bonus at level 20 to deal as much damage with your Basic Attack as
now with Sweeping Strike bonus.
Talents
Level 1
Immolation (W)
!Quest: Every time you kill a minion with Sweeping Strike, its damage is increased by 1, up to 30.
!Reward: After killing 30 minions, increases the damage of Sweeping Strike by an additional amount equal to 100% of the bonus that give the quest “10.000 years of hatred”.
Passive: After dealing damage with Sweeping Strike, burn nearby enemies for 16 (+4% per level) damage for the duration of Sweeping Strike’s Bonus damage.
Current Immolation deals 22 damage per second for 4 seconds.

Battered Assault (Q + W)
Reworked:
!Quest: Hit 10 times at least 2 heroes with Sweeping Strike.
!Reward: Each time you hit 2 heroes, add 0,5 Basic Attack Damage to the quest “10.000 years of hatred” and increases Sweeping Strike bonus damage to 100% for its duration.
!Reward: Hit 3 Heroes with a single Sweeping Strike grants all reward.
!Passive: Increases the bonus duration that grants the quest “10.000 years of hatred” to Sweeping Strike from 0.1 second to 0.2 seconds per 3 Basic Attack bonus.
!Passive: Dive now deals Physical Damage.
Now, Illidan’s blades will shine in blue for the duration.
The circle showing the duration of Sweeping Strike will shine in blue as long as Battered Assault is activated instead of yellow (and yellow if Battered Assault isn’t activated, as currently).
Battered Assault’s damages at level 1 are the same.

Unending Hatred (Passive)
Removed.

New Talent: Gathering Strike (Q)
Dive automatically activates Sweeping Strike’s basic attack bonus damage. Furthermore, if you use Dive on an enemy Hero, increases basic attack bonus damage granted Sweeping Strike by 10% for its duration up to 80% bonus. If Sweeping Strike’s bonus is already activated, then Dive applies new bonus and resets the duration.
If you hit twice the same target, increases Sweeping Strike bonus by 20% instead of 10%.
Quest: Each time you deal damage against a Hero by using Dive or Sweeping Strike, grants 0,2 stack to “10,000 years of hatred” quest, up to 5.

Level 4 (There’s only 2 talents at level 4 now)
Rapid Chase (Q)
Deleted.

Friend or Foe (Q)
Bonus range reduced from 20% to 10%.
New functionality:
Illidan is now Unstoppable during Dive animation.
Old Unstoppable frame on Dive brought back.

Unbound (W)
The quest has been deleted.
New features:
Sweeping Strike still allows you to go over walls and terrain.
If you don’t hit any enemy within the first half of Sweeping Strike, increases its range by 20%.
Old talent Fel Reach brought back and improved.
Illidan is now Unstoppable during Sweeping Strike animation.
Old Unstoppable frame on Unbound brought back (Yes, this talent granted Unstoppable during Beta).

Level 7
Reflexive Block (Q)
Now, Dive grants 50 Physical Armor for 1,5 seconds instead of 2 charges.

Thirsting Blade (Trait)
Betrayer’s Thirst’s healing from Physical Damage is increased from 30% to 50% while Sweeping Strike’s damage bonus is active.

Level 13
Elusive Strike (E)
Reduction per hero hit reduced from 3 seconds to 2,5 seconds up to 12 seconds.
New functionality:
Increase the duration of Evasion from 2,5 seconds to 3 seconds.

Sixth Sense (E)
No longer grants 2 charges.
Grants 50 Magical Armor for the duration of Evasion.
Old talent Sixth Sense brought back.

Nimble Defender (W)
Removed.

New talent: Absorption (E)
Evasion heals you for 25% of Physical and Spell Damage taken during its duration and increases your maximum current health for 100% of the amount healed during for 5 seconds.
Level 16
Marked for Death (Q)
This talent changes according your level 1
  • Immolation
  • Dive deals 100% bonus Spell Damage to Heroes.
    Which means 250 damage or 500 if you hit twice at level 20 (currently it's 539)
  • Battered Assault
  • While Battered Assault is activated, Dive deals 100% bonus Physical Damage to Heroes.
    Which means 250 damage or 500 if you hit twice.
  • Gathering Strike
  • Illidan's next Basic Attack on the Dive target deals additional damage equal to the current Sweeping Strike's Basic Attack damage bonus.
    Old talent Marked for Death brought back and adapted according this rework.

    Fiery Brand (E)
    Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes deal bonus damage equal to 1% of the Hero's Maximum Health.
    Increases bonus damage from 1% to 1.5% as long as Evasion is activated.
    Heals Illidan for 1% of its current Maximum Health and 1.5% while Evasion.

    Blades of Azzinoth (W)
    You can now activate Blades of Azzinoth even if you don't have 5 stacks.
    Activate to consume every stacks you got, and increases your Basic Attack damage by 15% per stacks, up to 75% for 8 seconds.

    New talent: Azzinoth's Fire (W)
    You can take this talent only if you got Immolation.
    Increases the damage dealt by the fire by 100% per Heroes hit for the duration of Sweeping Strike.
    The fire heals you for 50% damage dealt to Heroes.
    Increases the bonus damage that the quest "10.000 years of hatred" gives to Sweeping Strike from 100% to 125%.

    Level 20

    Nexus Blades

    New talent: Shadow Shield (E)
    Evasion grants a shield equal to 8% of the current Maximum Health of Illidan as long as Evasion is active.
    Each time Illidan is stunned or rooted during Evasion, grants an additional shield equal to 4% of your current Maximum Health and Evasion duration is paused until the stun or root ends.
    Old talent brought back and adapted.

    New talent: Thrill of Battle (E+Trait)
    Activate to increase the cooldown reduction from Basic Attacks by 0.75 seconds for 8 seconds.
    As long as Thrill of Battle is activated, reduces the duration of Silences and Blind during Evasion by 75%.
    Cooldown: 60 seconds (Betrayer's Thirst affects this cooldown).
    Old talent brought back and adapted.

    Nowhere to Hide (R2)
    Casting the Hunt on an enemy Heroes reduces duration of roots, stuns and slows by 50% for 6 seconds.
    Using Dive on the target refreshes this duration.
    Increases the damage of The Hunt based on distance traveled up to 50%.

    Demonic Form (R1)
    Metamorphosis lasts endlessly, Health and Attack Speed granted by Metamorphosis too.
    As long as you're in Demonic Form, reduces the duration of Stuns, Roots and Slows by 50%.
    You lose Demonic Form if you die.
    Problem is, Illidan already has a high pick-rate

    I REALLY want too as well, I've spent months on this rework, it's just the best that can happen to Illidan, calculations are done and nothing seems particularly OP.

  • I support this, or something like it. Illidan has been left behind. The lack of combos, or simply being able to cast evasion while casting other things makes him too easily to kill. The change/reversion of Sixth Sense is vital too.
    I'd actually support FoF being default functionality; why not dive to friendlies by default?
    O like it. Making Illidan stronger early game and giving quality of life is great. Still, I suggest another level 4 talent IF it is pertinent.
