New interesting Hero

Hero and Skin Suggestions
So one of the first things that really made me fall in love with Hots was it's wacky hero design for some hero's. Think Abathur, Cho'gall and vikings. It was one of the reasons that made me fall in love with hots that the dev team was willing to go beyond what standard is for a hero in a MOBA. I noticed over the past year that since cho'gall release the extravaganz has become a bit tempered with only medivh coming close. (my opinion)

Any idea's for a wacky character swirling about in the community to help blizzard put out a new marvel of a character(s)? Saw something like a leeroy jenkins playing for the opposite team that sparked my interest :)

I made a build for Varimathras that someone said was like a support hero that instead of healing it debuffed the enemy team, actually just made it today. I'll link it if you want to check it out. Hope this works for what you asked. https://www.heroesfire.com/hots/concept/varimathras-9773
I kind of was in a creative mood this week and thought of a hero that could switch their basic attack weapons between 3 different weapons. One was a damage dealer, one dealt splash damage, and one countered armored targets. It's abilitis weren't too unique, but the main thing I was trying to do was make a verities bruiser that was slow, but had talents that he could pick that allowed him to counter certain big threats on the enemy team like a Tracer. But I couldn't come up with a character to attribute it to so yeah

I also thought of Aldaris as an Arbiter support character who used energy instead of mana similarly to Morales and had a couple abilities that were cheap, but drained energy slowly. One of them was pretty much Disruption Web from Brood War except channelled and the other was Cloaking Feild (still got cancelled when attacking tho) so the skill cap is very high because knowing when to cancel abilities would be crucial to playing him.

Karax was another character I thought about. Mainly in an abathur way. He was weak, but had global abilities like orbital strike and solar lance. In order to power these abilities he would have to preform basic attacks. (Safest way to do this is via attacking minion in an empty lane or from behind the walls) I'm also thinking that he could have a cheap ability to Warp in a sentinile that was a tough melee warrior that revived upon death (not like mostrocity tough, more like melee bruiser mercenary tough)
I don't really want to flood this thread with a dozen concepts, so I'll nitpick the top 6 "weirdest" characters. There are other ones that could be considered weird, like my Barnes concept, who selects one of four plays to showcase at his Hall of Storms, providing global benefits, and then he gets three abilities based on the other three. All of my concepts can be found here: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/heroes/topic/20753149501

These two are a 2 in 1 character, similar to Cho'Gall, but are played as two individual heroes, a warrior and a support. They can combine their abilities for greater effects, or split up to tackle objectives alone.

Baron Rivendare, Lord of the Four Horsemen
First Variant: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/heroes/topic/20752685201

You control all four Horsemen with your Q, W, E, and 1 abilities, and your trait is a special move depending on which Horsemen you control. A super-micro heavy character similar to Lost Vikings, but gains much more benefits from staying together, encouraging grouping them rather than split-pushing.

Deathwing, the Destroyer
https://us.battle.net/forums/en/heroes/topic/20753350485

A monstrously large hero that clings to the side of the maps, becoming immobile but serving as a mini raid boss, with huge damaging and disrupting abilities with large delays. Can also descend with his mortal form to interact with the center of the map and capture objectives.

Brann Bronzebeard, Lead Explorer
https://us.battle.net/forums/en/heroes/topic/20753458135

A supportive specialist who, instead of trying to lane and kill minions, gathers experience by drawing a map of the map. His "explored" areas grant his allies bonuses, like moving over terrain at half speed. He can also set up survey areas and excavate artifacts that he can use for his abilities.

Overmind, Master of the Zerg
http://us.battle.net/forums/en/heroes/topic/20752287020

A core-replacement hero that spawns "Hero units" to go and capture objectives and lane. These hero units play very similarly to actual Heroes, but are much weaker, offer .25 a kill, and the Overmind can choose between three of them for different situations. He also floods lanes with minions and grants vision of the map with Overlords.

Mengsk, Emperor of the Dominion
https://us.battle.net/forums/en/heroes/topic/20753345545

A fairly weak hero that has an escort of four marines that follow him in formation. He can use his abilities to call upon different characters of the dominion to defend him, and his talents allow him to replace members of his squad with other terran units for bonus effects and uses.
Or if you played as Mograine and had the Heroic options of either using the Corrupted Ashbringer or using the Four Horseman as extra npcs with you or a charge like in WoW:Legion, used by the Deathlord.
I had a concept for The God Squad and I was thinking about updating it.

Loving the idea's. Especially the deathwing from a macro gameplay perspective. I do wonder if he will be fun to play in fights but still :) Brann though.... thats some flavor and creativity there. Love the concepts. Thanks guys! Hope more will be posted. Like reading them.
I want another character that requires two players to play, similar to Cho'Gall but not tied into the same body. I posted one quick concept of a build for Karax where his main source of play comes from spawning different Protoss units each with different functions (siege, support, assassin etc).

But think it would be fun to actually have those units controlled by another player and the two would have to communicate which units are needed when and where, and if the two are close by each other their abilities could synergize for team fights. The same idea I was thinking could be used for a Demonology Warlock from WoW (has to be an undead character because there currently is no undead in HotS and they're just awesome) where his different demons have different functions as well. What do you think?
Protoss carrier that requires a lot of control for the fighters.

Terran viking that switches from flight mode to walker. Kind of like Greymane is now.

These aren't crazy, wacky ideas but they are different than most characters in the game.
I feel as if my recent Battle Queen concept is somewhat odd; https://us.battle.net/forums/en/heroes/topic/20765957136
