Stukov rework idea

General Discussion
Make him into the second multi-class. being a support and specialist.

change passive into infest structure. Friendly buildings heal and spawn broodlings for a short period, enemy buildings will simply be disabled and spawn bloodlings for a short period. (the duration is up to discussion)

Q now heals more due to the removal of the passive active. Will still spread from friendly hero to hero.

W's slow has been lengthened due to the removal of the passive active.

E has been replaced with Corrosive Blast. Enemies hit by Corrosive blast take more damage from other sources. (the extra damage amount is up for discussion)

(lurking arm as an ability does not fit the theme of the character and doesn't make sense from a lore stand point.)

Talents are up for discussion.
screw you guys my idea is good. XD
If the change to Tyrande tells us anything blizzard doesnt like hybrid heroes.
we will never get another multiclass hero. why? because it destroys quick match
healing structures isn`t a good mechanic in the first place. Second, I don`t know how you imagine the passive to work, but it sounds like stukov needs to be nearby. If thats the case, do you think stukov lurking around his nearly dead structures to heal them for a decent amount of the game is fun? No? Good, because it isn`t

You kinda just mix heroes+abilities together. E = Tyrandes Trait. Heal buildings and spawn units = aba trait+mule. Disable buildings = sylvanas trait... Stukov is more or less a good designed hero, he doesn`t need a rework
Maybe an unpopular opinion, But I think Stukov is strong after his last rework and he is much better as a teammate. NO more all-arm-all-the time Stukovs.
If you're going to make Stukov a multiclass, make him choose between pre- and post-infestation.

the point of the rework was to make him more accurate lorewise. As his kit currently doesn't make a lot of sense if you are familiar with him in starcraft.

the passive would have a decent cooldown so that it wouldn't be abused of course and him doing that is about as fun as trying to detonate your passive with both allies and enemies effected.

quick match is always gonna be a mess. why? because if you want matches quickly you have to sacrifice balanced team comps.

good as a teammate? yes. accurate to his character? no. That's the issue i'm trying to solve. although it's difficult because people who aren't familiar with starcraft are ok with the way he is.
i like current stukov and dont want him to change. id much rather blizz focus on things like fixing chen or TLV

the question is....do you like him because of how good his kit is or do you like him because of his character? that is the point of this.
Everybody complains about balancing, and here you are, trying to rework a perfectly balanced character for lore reasons.
No thank you.

i mean if you were a fan of a character and felt that they were misrepresented you would want them to be changed to be more accurate.

what if artanis didn't have the purifier beam as an ult but instead something that didn't fit his character? what if Illidan couldn't become demonic in hots? Representation of a character is important. If you favor balance over that then your priorities are warped.

stukov's abilites are like someone threw a dart at a wall filled with different ideas and decided to mash them together. luckily they work together.
Stukov is one of the best supports.. Leave him alone!

Fanstastic sustain heal, fantastic slow, fantastic auto attack damage (without spending any talents).

Yes his auto attack is slow, but it hits very hard. It still is above average damage, especially compared with many warriors.

"What is the future of multiclass heroes?"

When they rework roles, multi class will go away and they will make varian something else.

Oh, gee. This again.

I agree that the healer role wasn't best for stukov, but it's not completely off like Tassadar. It's still within reason of fitting his lore. Not every hero will get a kit that's 100% dead on. In fact, I'd say few do. Not only that, but some sort of infestation hero is still a possibility with an infestor.
