Ping Issue - SEA Servers

Technical Support
I am currently having ping issues which did not became a problem until 3 days ago. I also saw many threads complaining about this so I figured I should make a new thread.

I am hoping SEA server players who have a problem also post their complaints here, preferably according to my format below.

Here's my information:

Country: Indonesia
ISP: FirstMedia
Bandwidth: 30Mbps down, 3Mbps up

WinMTR results:

In my results and ignoring my packet losses, you can see that the ping increase can be seen on Hop #10 (203.83.223.21). That IP address seems to be one of the addresses in Amazon's IP pool. And since my ISP nodes are fine (again, ignoring the packet loss), I assume this issue is either middle or server-ended. As for the packet loss, I can see no packet loss in-game after pressing Ctrl+Shift+N (seeing the network graph) so no worries there.

Nevertheless, dear Blizzard or networking experts, please have a look into this and help resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Thank you.

EDIT: My ping to US servers is actually normal and even better than the current SEA server ping (200ms vs 280ms)
Hey ionizer,

So looking at this I think this is going to be caused by the packet loss you are seeing on hop 6.
| fm-dyn-111-95-244-50.fast.net.id - 5 | 45 | 43 | 21 | 25 | 33 | 28 |

Unfortunately it looks like a lot of the nodes are configured to ignore ICMP requests so it makes it a little rough to say for sure. However when looking at hop 10 it is showing 24% packet loss.
| 203.83.223.21 - 24 | 26 | 20 | 276 | 277 | 286 | 278 |

This indicates that the packet loss continues or gets worse past that point so its likely going to be starting on hop 6. I would definitely reachout to your ISP and hopefully they can help you get this resolved.

Thanks for your response. As for the packet loss, I don't quite experience any loss in game.

By the way, this is what I'm talking about when I wrote "My ping to US server is better than to SEA server":

Please look into this again. Thanks.
When you look at the ping to the US server it is taking a different route then to the SEA server. Ultimately that affirms my thought that it's a problem on hop 6 in the route to the SEA servers. Unfortunately that is well outside of our network and not something we can really do anything about. However if you reach out to your ISP they should be able to work to resolve it as it appears to be their Peering Partner who is having the problem.

Please re-check about this as this one has NO packet loss.

EDIT: If I'm not wrong, Hop #10 is really Amazon's IP. Please check your side as well. There are many other players who share this same issue.
This one has no packet loss but unfortunately it is still not showing any data between hops 7 and 9. It is still telling me that the problem is either with hop 6 and its hand off to 7 or somewhere right after that. However since we cannot see the data on those nodes its impossible for me to say for sure. I still think you need to contact your ISP and work with them on this.

I have contacted them as well. But if the case is about hops 7-9, it would be out of their scope and they would refuse to work on it, just like the last time I got a ping increase last month.

I hope this does not turn out to be a very unfortunate incident in which nobody can or wants to resolve...
