Does Rewind make Tracer's hitbox disappear?

General Discussion
I was just playing a payload escort match on Attack, and I was the only one circling the payload. I went from the front of the payload to the back, only to Rewind and bring myself to the front again, expecting to be at full health. But it seems that instead, as soon as the Rewind took place, it counted as a loss since we were holding it in Overtime. Now, that begs the question; does that mean that Rewind temporarily makes her hitbox disappear, even to points and payloads?
Huh, weird. Bump so actually competent people will see this
i guess? since it would make her not exist in time and space but now i'm just overanalysing it

Overanalyzing it sounds possible, but even still, from a gameplay standpoint, it could possibly force a choke by accident, or give you an ultimatum; lose by bullets, or lose by trying to survive.
It moves her to a different map on the server. They patch the visual effect for spectators but it should be the same. For example, if you rewind on Map A then during that period, you are in another map, map B.
Recall is a teleport and the entire character model and moves from the place of origin to the place it was 3 seconds ago. Without a video showing what happened exactly, it's hard for us to deduce if there is a problem/bug etc.
Stylosa notice me
Hey YouTube
I don't think it does. I've been hacked by sombra when i used rewind.

But from a developmental standpoint, would using it force the payload to not detect her model, thus not detecting her presence upon the point? That's my question.
the same thing happens if you eject from your meka as dva

i don't think you can contest the payload while recalling,. it woulbe the same for reaper using shadow step from/to the payload

Something you could try doing is playing against a Sombra bot and recalling right as she hacks you.

It'll allow you to recall, but you'll end up back in time but still hacked. In other words, Tracer is targeted despite being invincible and not having a hitbox.

I've always wondered if this is intentional. Certainly feels buggy, and it's reliably reproducible, but it's never been mentioned or put on a list of bugs.
UPDATE:
After trying to reproduce the results, it seems the payload does still detect a recalling Tracer even through the entire animation. I suppose the happenstance of it not detecting me for just a split second in an actual game was more connection based and not necessarily by bug. Still was odd though, and cost the match, but ah well.

Payload and objective in this game are funky sometimes, I had moment when 4 of us were on payload and yet the OT timed out.

With regards to contesting the objective while Tracer uses Recall, afaik, she contests it if her location during the rewinding animation puts her in range for contesting it. So over the last 3s, if you've left the objective, you'll also not be able to contest it for a brief time while you use Recall.
