All of Sombra's Detrimental Bugs

As a software developer, these examples really don't help much sadly.

Just because you're aware of a bug, doesn't necessarily make it easier to fix.

A lot of these examples are poorly explained and is intermittent, which is exponentially harder to fix than a known testable bug; the QA team is most likely already aware of these bugs and trying to figure out what causes the issue.
I have a feeling that fixing the teleporter bugs will also fix the Tracer disappearing bomb bug, the mei's disappearing blizzard bug, the flashbang "Where it go?" bug, the ana sleep dart went into another dimension bug, etc.

I believe all of these are results of the instant drain of the ultimate. Whereas, you hit Q or E, and instead of registering as it does on your screen: The server doesn't even know you did it, because there is an acknowledgment delay.
Bug 2 - "Ghost Throw"
This bug was fixed in Patch 1.14.1

I've had this happen to me once, only once since that patch.
Thanks SilentStorm for this post and Jeff for your responses. I have experienced many of these bugs and have videos/details to add.

Regarding the bugs that have occurred even after they were said to be fixed:

Bug 2 - "Ghost Throw"
This bug was fixed in Patch 1.14.1
Patch 1.14.1 looks to have come out Aug 29th. I have had the bug happen twice since then:
  • Sep 20th: https://plays.tv/s/LX_QUXco3TYd
  • Nov 17th: https://plays.tv/s/LX_Qad5cuXFo

Bug 1 - "Phantom Translocate"
This is an old bug that was fixed last February (Patch 1.8.0)
Phantom Translocate is occurring for a different reason now. The February patch fixed the problem of translocating in place when you initially put the translocator under your feet. Most of the videos in the OP shows this. However, the problem we are seeing now is when you try to translocate at the very last second, which causes you to translocate in place. I have experienced this multiple times in the last few months, and always with 1s left on the timer. I don't have my own video, but you can see this in the OP videos #1.3 and 1.5. These are both post February patch.

Lastly, I have some more video examples if you would like to use for the other bugs:

Bug 4 - Sporadic Camera

Bug 7 - Hacked Refresh Ignore:

Quick update.

Bug 1 - "Phantom Translocate"
This is an old bug that was fixed last February (Patch 1.8.0)

Bug 2 - "Ghost Throw"
This bug was fixed in Patch 1.14.1

Bug 3 - "Lagging Hitbox"
This bug was fixed in 1.13.0

Bug 6 "Sombra Hack Priority"
We don't consider this a bug. This was the developer comment at the time:
“Keep in mind there is a 0.1s delay before the beam is allowed to break. So if you recall with less than 0.1s left on the hack, it will complete. This is intended (for now...)”

Please let us know if you're still experiencing the "fixed" bugs in the current, live game and we need to revisit them.

We're still looking into the rest of the list.
The first 2 bugs are definitely still here unfortunately.
I might be the only one who have never encountered any of this bugs, or i haven’t played enough Sombra.
Anyways you are doing god works man. Keep going!
Phantom Translocate:
This still occurs when you translocate near the end of the cooldown, you will see the animation and hear the sfx, but not actually translocate.

Ghost Translocator Throw:
This still occurs when done at the beginning and end entering stealth, and the beginning and end of exiting stealth.

Lagging Hitbox:
This still occurs when done at the end of the cooldown, the translocate happens as desired, you teleport to the intended location, but in the replay it shows you translocating but dying where you were, before the translocate finishes.

I would guess these are related to latency and or Favor the Shooter logic.
OMG finally someone made this!!! Jeff, fix my bby Sombra!

Nice work! I'll add these new ones to the list.

My own example of the sporadic camera after translocating, as well. If I dig through my Twitch streams, it's happened on there, too. I'll find some time later this afternoon to link clips of it happening.

I'll add this and the other videos you get to the list.
Here's another example of lagging hitbox, from less than two weeks ago (November 27th).

It seems like ghost throw is not totally fixed (though it definitely happens less often now). This was clipped just now in the current patch. Ghost throw cost WorstSombra his life:

wow excellent coverage of shadow bugs, many of those have happened to me it would be good to ask someone here has happened that in the middle of a fight try to hack the medical pack to give an advantage to the team I surprise the hack works but not with the medical pack, with the subject that is in the background and other times the opposite happens, I try to hack a character and the hack falls into the medical pack that I am not even pointing at. also the detail that the hack does not work with the shield, nor the teleport of Symmtra.
so when are the bugs and matchmaking issues going to be fixed? if ever?

Thanks for taking the time to put this together for us. We'll start checking these out.

Nice maybe look a little in making Sombra less ultimate focuses? :P
Some little buffs in exchange of a longer ult charge?
Her is a big thread about this https://us.battle.net/forums/en/overwatch/topic/20759506630?page=18#post-342

Well done Silent strom!

Adding both into the list. Good work guys.
Rewatching Fitzy's Sombra tutorials, you can see them have the Phantom Translocate that were fixed in February in this June video: https://youtu.be/DG1322tmEts?t=3m55s
I hope Blizzard reward the hardwork of these players collecting bugs, play testing and recording them.
These are work that takes up many man hours to replicate the issues that I would expect to be done by the developer.
