Stop asking for no SR loss after teammate disconnects

Competitive Discussion
people keep suggesting this with no actual though out solution.
such as...

Do you think that the winning team still deserves SR? Because if you do there will be SR inflation which breaks the system.

Do you think the winning team deserves no SR when someone on the other team disconnects? Because if you do, how mad will you be when you are about to win but someone on the other team rage quits and no one in the game changes SR but the leaver

You could maybe do some calculations like how long a player was gone for and MAYBE reduce the SR gain and SR loss equally, but if you do that i think you would need to increase the penalty for punishment to at least 100 SR which people already complain about at 50.

How is Blizzard supposed to take ideas on the forums seriously when the vast majority of them are just emotional impulses with very little thought put into the repercussions of such actions. People basically yell at blizzard for not implementing poor, not well thought out ideas.
So what you're saying is that it's okay that one player leaving, which can completely unbalance the game, results in people losing points undeservedly? You've got a lot of criticism here for the playerbase, but no solutions.

There isn't a solution. It's fine as it is.
I actually just want a backfilled AI Bot to fill a leaver.
The solution is simple and straight forward. As regards Competitive mode.If a person leaves or is disconnected, or even afk (give them 5 mins to reconnect, or join the current game. if they do not, then thats 1 strike. (5 mins is more than enough time for any network hickup unless its a full disco.) If the same thing happens again in the same season due to network problems or player hissy fits, then thats strike 2. Then give them 1 last chance, Same rules 5 mins to reconnect, from any disconnects, or isp problems if they do not then ban them for the season. they can still play all the other modes as this does not effect rankings. but the reason we try to get in to comp mode is so we all have a professional and fun game not mired by griefers. If there behavior is the same for 2 seasons then ban them outright, as they should not even be attempting to play a game on a 28k modem. you cant fix stupid.

Even on the best connections, isps can only guarantee 99.98% uptime. This equates to about a couple of hours on any isp per month for the entire year which adds up. Most won't run into an issue, but for hardcore gamers(streamers) you would have a large talented player base banned just because their isp had an issue.
This is the solution plain and simple. It's fair to everyone.

-100 SR for quitter
+SR for winning team
-SR for players partied with the quitter if they lose
0SR for players on the quitters team who aren't partied with quitter if they lose
Player leaves, game ends, no SR change, player that left is suspended for 1 hour. 3 strikes, banned permanently from comp. Problem solved.

They need to add some type of increased punishment for each offense. Weekly reset or something so you can try to not be a child/get new internet the next week.
The only non-abusable system is one where you cannot figure out a way to evade a loss (aka have someone on the team bite the bullet and leave, so everyone else can prevent losing SR on a losing game).

It's not a perfect system, but it's the right one.

Leavers are also not as common as people make it be. At least 90% of games are leaver-free.
I just think that if you’re not in a group and someone within a group leaves, the group should lose SR and the solo queue people should not and vice-versa. (Solo-queue leaves, then all solo-queues on that team will lose SR and the grouped players won’t.
With MMR existing, there is no such thing as inflation or deflation of SR because everyone is getting different amounts anyway.
The game could use some SR inflation with all the throwers we've had to deal with for 7 seasons.
You act like the sr inflation won't correct itself when people are pushed into a rank they can't function at and are just shoved back down into their elo

If you think the system works, you wouldn't care about inflation since it just really means SR fluctuation
