Should Be A Class Action Lawsuit Against OW

Competitive Discussion
I actually think there should be a class action lawsuit against Blizzard for not disclosing the rigged nature of the competitive game. It's clearly meant to knock you down on purpose with the hope that you'll want to play more in order to gain back the ranking they took away.

They can deny it all they want, but someone needs to step up and demand to see the inner workings of this matchmaker, and prove once and for all that it's a rigged system. I'm sure there is a case to be made.
This has to be a joke LUL
LOL
Any chance you can prove your statement somehow? Some solid evidence, not the usual "I lost 10 games in a row because I didn't stop playing after first 3 losses... I mean, because my team is bad and Blizzard clearly pairs me up with bad players to drag me down reeeeeeeeee"

No?
I doubt you could achieve anything in court then.
Thx for the joke, it's really funny :)
We're past even debating the existence of the forced nature of the game any more.

Let's see someone dig in to the code then.

Let's see how honest and innocent Activision-Blizzard is about their hidden matchmaking.
Dude.

It's a videogame.
you're platinum man, it's not the game knocking you down
Blizzard is not the reason I am the rank I am in competitive. The responsibility rests on my on front door because I do not have as much time to focus on competitive as I'd like or play time in general to improve how I play.

I can put on my big boy pants and take responsibility for it. I get so tired of sloths drowning in their own sense of entitlement that come here to whine like drama queens when they don't get the rank they think they deserve instead of the rank that reflects their real ability to play this game.

Grow up.

Interesting thought! Corporations like Blizzard seem to prefer their customer feedback in lawsuit form. They don't respond to anything else: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/overwatch/topic/20760857618
Tell me, in this fantasy world where they actually paid programmers to sit down and program a rigged matchmaking system, and then paid everyone involved to keep this secret, especially the PR guys who have to explicitly lie... Did the moon landing get faked as well?

If you think that everyone will be happy with a non-rigged system, then whats your explanation for that NOT being what they did? Is it somehow more profitable to make people less happy to play competitive? Could you explain that business model?
I think you're being a bit ridiculous thinking you can sue them. Whether ELO hell is real or not is a debate that goes on in every game like this.

I think all you can do is encourage others not to buy into any company that refuses to be transparent about how it actually works. We give blizzard the power by buying their game and agreeing to follow their set conditions.

Sadly they owe us no explanation for anything if they don't want to. The only reason a company would is because they think it's a good marketing decision.

In which world a company give all this secret to their customer ?

Is Google giving us the code source of their engine ? Is Ferrero is giving us the nutella receipt ?

Am with you on that!!!!!
My friend, casino's use same rigged method and people are aware of it, yet they still play. blizzard has taken advantage of people but in the end we are responsible for letting it take control of us.
If a there's gonna be a lawsuit against Blizzard it should be about them running a casino with their loot boxes. Paying money and not knowing what your prize is sounds a lot like gambling...in-fact it IS gambling

courtesy of dictionary.com
Gambling
1. the activity or practice of playing at a game of chance for money or other stakes.
2. the act or practice of risking the loss of something important by taking a chance or acting recklessly:

isn't this illegal since millions of minors play this game and probably buy loot boxes?

I don't think he seriously thinks that people could sue them.

Could you imagine though, lol.

"We love your game so much that we can't stop playing it, despite the fact that it makes us so ^@%#ing angry. Pay us."

That's not how this works. YOU are making the accusation. It's not Blizzard's job to prove you wrong. It's YOUR job to prove yourself right. The burden of proof is on you, not on Blizzard.

No, we're not past debating whether or not the game is "forcing" you to do anything. No, Blizzard should not have to present their proprietary code or formulas just because you made a baseless claim. They are being honest by telling you that they're honestly not going to reveal that information, and they don't have to. Don't like it? Go play Paladins or whatever other crappy "Overwatch Killer" you think is doing a better job. Blizzard has given a basic overview of how matchmaking works, and if you have something other than anecdotal evidence to present that would show they're lying, I'm sure we'd all love to see it. If you don't believe them, you have two choices, and SUING Blizzard is not one of them: keep playing, or quit. Any lawyer would laugh you out of his office, as most of the people here have laughed at your post.
Who put a stick up this guy’s butt?

Kabam!!

I love Blizzard games even though I know they are ALL based around addictive manipulation.
